Brands:Brand: Due North
The versatile North everyday winter traction is ideal for outdoor winter activities that require Urban and light-duty casual, dress and athletic footwear. Whether you're shoveling the Sidewalk, walking the Dog or just running errands, the lightweight yet durable design of these traction aids will give you the confidence you need when walking or running on icy and snowy conditions. The webbed sole design allows the due North everyday traction aid to Adapt to the shape of your shoe, working with almost any style of shoe in your closet, and its low profile fit means it's nearly invisible to the eye. When not in use, the compact design makes them easy to store in small places such as, your coat pocket, handbag, briefcase or the glove box in your car.
Had a (much) older pair from earlier incarnation of Due North which finally wore out. Ordered these as replacement. Ordered and received Large/X-Large size but could barely stretch them over a size 12 boot (see pic) and not over a size 13 athletic shoe without extreme undue effort. Makes them too difficult to use except on one dedicated pair of shoes (Presuming I could get them on that pair, that is) so I returned them. Would probably work well with smaller shoe sizes based on my experience with earlier version.
I wish I had found these years ago. I was sliding everywhere. I couldn't even stand up. Tried all kinds of boots and shoes. The ice was 2" thick. Put on the ice cleats and I could walk normally up hill down hill and everywhere else.
We've had a tough winter in the North and walking on the ice and snow has been precarious. These aids are very easy to put on and take off. They are great on ice and snow. What a deal!
My "go to" cleats for running on snow and ice.
Work great. Also they have not damaged my tile like my previous brand.
Works great on ice. Take off indoors.
XL was too small to fit my size 12 shoes
Work good in snow and ice, not so much when hit concrete, broke some of the spikes off easily on concrete.
If I were the designer, I would add more studs to the heel area.
I have several pairs, for my boots and runners for winter icy roads.
Idéal pour jogging sur glace
