Beware pictures are deceiving, to say the least. My son was not even two years old when he received this for a present and he was almost too big for it already, and he is not a large child either. The seat is not adjustable even though it claims it is and his knees were already touching the handlebars. Do yourself a favor and save your money, you will not be pleased with this purchase. I’m extremely disappointed as I was looking forward to this bike. Definitely not a “grow as I grow” item. :(
We love this bike for our son. He's currently 19 months and has been cruising around on a scuttlebug for the last few months. He's outgrown it a bit though and constantly drags his toes when going fast. We decided we'd get one that's a bit taller and also has the ability to transform as he grows, into a pedal bike and a balance two wheel bike. This one is PERFECT. Easy to put together with common sense (the directions are confusing in my opinion), and it's well made. The fact that it can transform into so many other options was a big selling point. We are super happy with this purchase!
I did not realized when i purchased this tricycle how hard it was to setup. I spent an hour on putting together the front of the bike and then when i was finally done i could not get on the seat because the seat was defective. Wouldnt recommend.
Too small for my 3 year old she has trouble peddling because her legs can't fully extend to peddle. My daughter is very petite so I don't think the size of this bike is appropriate for a 3 year old. I couldn't return it because I purchased it ahead of yime for Xmas last year and the return window was closed before xmas came which I didn't realize.
This thing is super cute and pretty easy to assemble. I think it took 10 minutes tops. Would have been finished sooner but I was confused about the handlebar piece (screw is already in it; it has to be loosened, inserted then re-tighten). It’s tiny but perfect for my short 3-year old. He has a 13-inch inseam and can touch the ground with the seat all the way down. He has room to grow. I like that it has the option to change into a balance bike as that was what I was originally looking to buy. My son isn’t quite ready to balance himself so we are keeping it as a trike for now.
I bought this bike for my beloved daughter, who is now 5 years old and happy. The bike is very comfortable, lightweight, but at the same time very durable bike. A child can drive long and enjoy the ride and I'm not worried it might tip over because there are very stable wheels. The Bicycle can be transformed into other forms, and this is its main advantage. Now my daughter rides this bike and it's cool but when she grows up and learns to ride better we will remove one wheel and she will have a real bike with two wheels and it is very convenient! Thanks!
Let me start by saying that we love this little bike. It is so versatile and we can see our daughter using it for years to come. But..... our daughter just turned one a couple weeks ago and is in the 73% percentile for height, and the top of her toes are barely touching the ground. It is too bad because she always wants to get on, but we have to push her around while she wraps her little legs around the metal bar. I now have to buy a different kind for now, for get to be able to push herself until she gets tall enough to use this one. So unless your kids is extremely tall, thiis bike will not work for a one year old.
I let him ride the tricycles, but he was not easy to push the pedal. The bike did not go further at all.
