I wish I could buy all the pretty colors they have for the women's Sockwell Socks, but alas, I am 5'9", have a size 11 woman's shoe, and have always had very thick legs, including my calves. The medium/large size does not fit me (which is the largest size the women's styles come in), it runs about 1 inch too short, likely due to the thickness of my calves. This was disappointing for me when I bought my first pair of sockwells. I really liked the quality of the sock, so I went ahead and bought a Men's large/x-large size and these fit me perfectly! I threw them in the dryer by mistake but they still fit and kept their compression even after having gone through the dryer. This review is actually for my 4th pair as I have 2 women's pairs (size med/large) that I cannot wear, and now I have 2 men's pairs (large/x-large) that are fabulous!

I am an RN who works those long 12 hour shifts, they offer great compression and, with the right size, they stay exactly where I want them to without the slipping down or digging in throughout the day. They are not too heavy, and have more of a sock feel than a stocking feel, which I prefer as the stocking type compression socks cause my feet to sweat. This is not the first brand of compression socks I have tried, I have bought others both before and after purchasing my initial pairs of Sockwell's. I wound up returning to these because I have just not been as satisfied with any others I have tried.

The only reason I am giving these a rating of 4 (instead of 5) is because I hate that I have to get the boring men's colors and designs since they do not offer the women's patterns and colors in the size that fits me. While this is not my first time having this problem when searching for an item, I am still disappointed. It is quite common for women to have larger (thicker) calves/legs than men, and believe it or not... not every woman is 5'4".

Expand the sizes of the women's styles and I would come back and give this a 5 star in a second.

These socks are really comfortable to wear all day at work. I wear a size 13 dress shoe and the XL size fits me well. I have a job where I am standing, or walking most of the day, and these socks keep my feet and ankles from swelling. That's a good thing when you're 55+.
I ordered two pairs for work. After only ONE WEEK, one sock developed a hole in the toe box above my right big toe! So I'm not sure about the long lasting quality of the material. Amazon promptly replaced the defective item. (See photo after one week of use).

I bought these for my husband. As expected because they are compression socks they at difficult to put on and off. They are soft which he and I both like. What I loved about these is his feet and ankles when I took them off that night did not have edema nor that purple color. I knew the socks had worked like they were supposed to. My husband's nurse and the head nurse had both recommended this particular brand and told me to order the socks off of Amazon. Both of them wear these type of socks all the time even though the do not have to because they are on their feet all the time. They said their feet do not get tired and their legs and feet feel so much better at the end of the day. I would recommend them to anyone who has diabetes, heart problems, circulation problems or just plain old tired feet or legs. I am buying him more socks from this company.

I got two pairs of these in Black Stripe L/XL for my boyfriend who typically wears 10.5/11 shoes. They fit perfectly and he loves them!

Now, he was a little skeptical about trying them, because he is a 10-pack of crew socks kinda guy, but his feet had been hurting from walking all day doing street photography. I told him the ladies version helped me with very achy feet and knees at work, that I got them on sale (they still cost more than 10 pair of his regular socks, but, better than MSRP!) and to *please, just give them a try*! He gave me "the look" and put them in the sock drawer.

Well, it took him a few weeks to even break open the packaging, but when he got home that evening after his first wearing he pretty much immediately exclaimed that the socks were fantastic and his feet felt so much better with them. Just like he is the kind of guy to wear $1 socks, he is also the guy who doesn't fluff things up - he shoots straight. So, this proclamation meant he meant it! Now, he doesn't wear them daily, but if he is going to be walking a lot, he puts these babies on because he knows they work. And now I have a new stocking stuffer idea. :P

Hope this review helps someone with their tired, sore feet. Best of luck!

UPDATE 01/06/2018: I wanted to update that these socks are still going strong for my boyfriend. They are his most expensive pair and he wears them when he knows he will be on his feet all day. Something of note: He must have acidic sweat because he wears holes through all his socks like crazy - these socks are still in perfect shape after 2 years where he has "killed" other socks in months. Definitely a winner in my book!

This brand is my favorite compression socks to wear. These are nice and wash well. I have several different styles and love them all. I wash in cold water in the washer and hang to dry (never put in the dryer.) I have 4-5 pairs and wear them each every week to work. I work 12 hr shifts at a busy hospital, and these are great. So much better than the nylon ones I bought for a lower price. They never get to hot in the summer and keep me warm in the winter. Also they fit a wider calf better than most.

These fit me very well, toe, heel and to the top of my calf. not too difficult to put them on, easy to take them off. I just had a very long trip, 23 hours door to door, 19 hours in the cabin of the plane in an economy seat. I had them on for 24 hours. No swelling at all. I would normally be swollen from my toes to my above ankles (without compression socks). I'm going to get more of these. Of three brands of compression socks I tried, these are by far my favorite.

These compression socks were advertised as large/XL, but realistically that would be more appropriate sizing for men with ( 9-10, (US sizes)
with smaller feet.
It was a real struggle to get these on and I only tried once. I cut them down to just above my ankle and tried to fit them on that way.
I was able with a help of a friend to pull them over my swollen size 10-12 feet.

I will keep searching for a different circulator/compression sock for me, but these particular ones are NOT a good fit as it seems I need XXL
at least.

The material was nice but sizing was off. As per usual socks, I wear a large or x-large . However, I had to return these socks as they did not fit properly, they were tight in the legs and very loose in the feet. This is very unusual because I have very wide big feet and I would have thought the completely opposite would have happened. If sizing were not involved, I would say they are a very good quality compression sock and would recommend them

Is it a joke? I ordered Medium-Large which should be US 7-10 EU 39-44. My size is US9, EU42 and what I received was SMALL size if not XSmall. Foot size ~20cm and my wife with US6.5 EU36 barely can put them...
Either supplier did a mistake and put small instead of M-L, or they just doing them wrong >:[]

Fabric hardly is a "wool" almost full synthetic ones (label saying 30% wool, 30% rayon and rest spandex)

Easy to put on and fits good. Very comfortable when wearing.

Delivery was on time and I really enjoy the product .The socks are very good quality. I will repeat order them.
