Aggressor 27. 5 x 2. 50WT 60 TPI Folding Dual Compound ExO / TR tyre
I am a huge fan of maxxis tires, but this particular model doesn’t match up to the performance of others. For aggressive riding this tire can be very unpredictable in corners and to top things off the sidewall tore on my first ride out. I am happy that a return was accepted and will continue to use Maxxis tires. I will however, avoid the aggressor as my choice of tire.
The aggressor seems to be the new rear tires every one is running and it does great. Maxxis makes awesome products and this is no expection
Rear tire of choice!! Used to run a DHRII out back and it had grip for days but rolled slower than I’d like so I swapped to the Aggressor. Rolls much faster and only sacrifices a very slight amount of traction. Favorite rear tire overall and will be running for quite some time.
The tread weaves as it rolls, ends up rubbing frame slightly. Besides that the tread/traction is superb! Decided to break the tires in on a trail fit for a mountain goat. The tires did great and didn't have a single flat.
I bought this tire to install as a rear tire on my bike, with a DHF up front. Together I have lots of traction and haven’t had any problems to speak of. Very happy with this tire.
Best tires on the market. Versatile and can be used in really any condition. I ride the Santa Cruz Bronson CC 27.5 and these fit like a charm.
I installed it on my 2016 yeti SB6c. It works fine in dry conditions and i like the extra traction and being able to run the psi a bit lower. however in the mud, the back tire does not have enough clearance and binds up pretty quick. The extra tire weight is also noticeable at first, but then you get used to it.
Maxxis tires are great quality, good grip and decent wear rate.
Amazing rear tyre the Aggressor. Great on most ground as long as it’s. It claggy mud. Rolls fast and corners well.
Balanced rolling speed and grip.
Bon grip, bon rapport qualité/prix
