Great shoe. I bought these with the Shamano A600 road touring pedal. I'm still waiting on pedals but I love this shoe. Make sure your pedals are SPD (not SPD-LS).
I bought these shoes to use for my road bike. I was looking for two things.
    1. I wanted excellent ventilation - I live in Florida.
    2. I wanted to walk comfortably off the saddle.
This shoe delivers both. The ventilation is incredible and they are very comfortable. The fact that they are sexy, light weight and have a beautiful stiff soul is the cherry on top ;)

My only complaint is that mine are just a tad small (that's what she said). I'm a size 10 in Nike. I ordered a 44. This is my fault mostly.... size ten needs a 45. But I like them so much I do not want to send them back to exchange....

These are the first pair of cycling shoes that I have owned and I am very happy with them. Be careful when you size them. I read other reviews that warned that they run small so I ordered a half size larger than the chart. The did seem tight when I first put them on and I even considered returning them. However, after about three cycling classes, I have to tighten the straps to keep them from being too big.

Love the shoe-it is great for spinning classes. However, the sizing is way off. I wear a 9.5 US or 42 European. However, I needed a European 45 in this shoe, 3 sizes bigger than what I normally wear. Also, the shoe is narrow, which works for me as I have narrow feet, but may not work for someone with wide feet. Please note that the shoe does not come with SPD or other cleats which will have to be bought separately and installed on the shoes.

I've been using these shoes for road bike cycling now for three months. Overall they're a good solid shoe. I use SPD pedals and cleats because I walk in them off the bike and they seem best for that. The footbed is firm and energy transfer to crank is good, even in an off the saddle situation. After reading other reviews before I purchased, the general consensus was to order them a half size larger because they run small. My only regret is not ordering them a full size larger because they run short and narrow. It blows my mind why cycling shoe manufacturers don't offer them in wide widths. I use a heavier wool sock for cold weather riding and I have a standard medium width foot. With these shoes it was close to painful with heavier socks. My recommendation is to go a full size larger if you use heavier socks in colder weather and adjust with Innersoles with thin socks.

Purchased these bike shoes as all around shoes to meet needs of training on indoor cycles as well as touring on road bike. Love these shoes. Comfortable but stiff enough to transfer power to pedals. Recessed spd cleats make these easy to walk in too. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I had to return the first pair of garneau’s I bought because they all seem to run a half size small. So if you’re a size 12, get12.5 (so 48 instead of 47).

My Adidas Landuna spin shoes lasted 20 years. These seem a little cheaply made. We shall see. They do run a little small, mostly narrow. I have loosed the straps quite a bit but they are short and the velcro barely catches when loosened the amount I need them to be to adjust the width properly. Otherwise, nice shoes. Not as small as some reviews would lead one to believe. I wear a women's 8 1/2 normally and ordered these in a 40... pretty close to size.

Good shoes that fit nice, feel good, look decent and has held up so far. The shoe platform help keep the cleats from ground surface. I haven’t really took them in that bad of environment just warm and hot weather so far but I did a century in them and they were not uncomfortable. I feel they are a good shoe!

    Excellent Shoes - very comfortable

Before I bought it, I noticed many negative comments about the shoes size. To avoid this issue and to be able to decide the right size that fits you, go to the official Louis Garneaue website, check their shoes size chart, you will find exactly the right size that fits, as their chart designed specifically for their brand shoes

I believe the seller need to include this chart in their add

I brought these as a replacement for my Diadora cycling shoes which fell apart. I use these exclusively for spin and have only written this review after two full 45 min classes to be sure of fit and performance.

First off fit. These shoes I would say are of average width fitting for cycling shoes. I am either an 8.5 or 9 UK in shoes or trainers and have g width. Most cycling shoes I take a UK 10 or 45 because they are narrow. My Diadora ones were a 43 as they were a wide fit and I have brought 44 in the multiflex. After to really hard sessions the fit is perfect. The Velcro has plenty left on the adjustment, the toe area is fine and they grip at the heal well. They also allow air travel around the foot to keep you cool. The biggest improvement is in the ability to walk around a sloppy gym floor as the bases are very stable. Tbh if my walk to the gym was shorter I could walk all the way in them.

Performance is excellent. The bases transfer power to the pedals well. They are easy to lock into the pedals. The Velcro has plenty of adjustment though if I'm honest I miss the ratchet system for the top strap. Overall they are very well made and will hopefully stand plenty of spinning.

Very comfortable from the start and no need to "break-in". Once the SPDs are fitted (check regularly for security), you can walk on a level surface without scoring it, as the sole is proud of the fitting. They are quality shoes and they are clearly built to last. Glad to have made the purchase.
NB If this helps, I'm normally a size 9 (Euro 43) and occasionally take a 10 in trainers. I purchased size 9.5 (euro 44).

Perfect so far. I was looking for a wider width shoe for spinning and this has worked so far. I had a pair of ME2 Shimano Bike Shoes for women and way too narrow. No more foot compression with these. I bought the men’s same sizing as women’s.

I had to go a size up to get them to fit (45 to a 46) and they are still snug. Which is okay for bike shoes. Just keep that in mind when ordering. I returned the first pair which was too small no problem.

went by asics shoe size, excellent shoe, why spend $150 more ...this shoe increases cadence, and unless you are a pro this is all you need.

Like many have already said, order one size up. Shoes are excellent quality for the price and very comfortable. Great buy. Also ordered the Wellgo SPD cleats to go with them.

First of all, ordered a number bigger than I usually have, the shue size fist, with the +1 size, but uncomfortable, my toes are smashed together, and after 40miles riding my feet go numb. Was expecting more from a name brand like Garneau.

I add my cleats and new pedals on my bike
easy to tie the velcro wraps are awesome

Very happy fast shipping with future rebate coupons and fit true to my real shoe size.

Returned these as they were too small. Purchased a larger size and they are great.

You could only use them as clipped in on pedals

Small, had to return, but it worked

    ,très bon

Looks like it’s made from really cheap plastic so don’t think they would last. They have been returned

First pair sent back to small second pair ok
