Almost 60 years ago sports footwear icon, Dino Signori, along with a small staff of enthusiasts, started by rethinking how trekking boots were made, then moved on to create the first rear entry ski boot. From there he took the first steps in building what is today the premier brand in cycling shoes-Sidi!
Way back in 1973 Sidi revolutionized the cycling shoe by incorporating the adjustable cleat position. In 1985 Sidi invented the world’s first dedicated MTB shoe and followed that by producing the first cycling shoe with a mono-filament Boa buckle. More recently Sidi debuted the Adjustable Heel Security System, allowing riders to customize shoe fit at the heel. In 2016 Sidi introduced another new innovation, the Techno-3 Push system that dials in fit along the entire length of the shoe, adapts the upper to the rider’s foot for a customized fit and releases at the push of a button.
Your source for some of the finest cycling products in the world! Sidi's collection of road, MTB, downhill, gravel and Tri shoes is unequaled for quality, features, innovations, performance and value.
The Dominator-7SR is a mainstay of the Sidi off-road collection offering outstanding features and affordable, especially for a shoe of this quality! Constructed of a solid “MicroTech Microfiber mesh” upper, this material has superior stability and water repellency for miles of enjoyment. Available in selected colors and offered in both standard and mega men’s sizing. The “MTB RS17 nylon sole” offers a firm, no flex, feel on the pedals. The classic Sidi “soft instep closure” system combined with the legendary “caliper” buckle and “high security Velcro” ensures a long-lasting comfortable ride and fit.
I struggle a lot with the release and tightening of the shoes. It's just awkward and I fiddle with it much longer than I should have to in order to get them adjusted appropriately. I have a much older pair (which I LOVE) and they aren't the same at all. I ordered the same size, but they are bigger - probably a fashion sizing thing as my last pair is literally a decade old and still going strong.
Too small. Uncomfortable
