Here are the measurements of the hoodie full-zip jacket in size Small (laying flat).

    Armpit-to-armpit: 19"
    Waist (and below): 18"
    Shoulder to bottom hem: 25"
Sleeve length, armpit to sleeve hem: 20" (covers back of my hands)
    Sleeve width at shoulder: 7.25"
Sleeve width at sleeve hem: 4"

After reading conflicting reviews about the jacket running big, small, or true to size, I took a chance with my order and assumed it would run big. I wear mostly Medium shirts for a fitted style (though not tight) and Small on rare occasion in some brands. I ordered the turquoise blue hoodie in Small and the size turned out to be great as a loose jacket for sun protection to wear over a t-shirt.

    Hope this helps someone!

I live in San Antonio, Texas and I don't drive so I walk/bus everywhere. I'm also extremely pale. I bought this hoping it would save me a small fortune in sunscreen. I LOVE IT. I wear it every day. I swim in it too, but mostly I just use it as a regular jacket. It fits loosely enough that it looks normal with regular clothes. The cooling effect is no joke and the UPF works great, too. AND HERE'S THE REAL TEST: I recently wore it while WALKING in 117° F with HIGH HUMIDITY and NO SHADE for TWO HOURS and I felt COMFORTABLE enough in my hoody that I had no desire to remove it. In fact, I have noticed that I feel cooler with it zipped up with the hood on than when I wear it open. As for FIT: I am a US size 18 (5'5", 220lbs, mostly belly fat), I ordered the size XXL in white and it fits perfectly. Loose and baggy in the sleeves, bit of a slimmer fit around my big tummy, bottom of the jacket rests around my hip joints. The hood is plenty big enough to put a bit of shade on my face and the pockets fit my cellphone, wallet, and sunscreen stick with my hands in there too. I have found that after wearing it a few times, it stretches out comfortably around my middle, and any little spots and stains have washed out with a regular washing (takes about 20 minutes to dry hanging up).

I have polymorphic light eruption syndrome. This is a literal life saver for me. I’ve never been able to go out in the sun as much as I’ve been able to with this jacket. I’m so insanely grateful this product was created. I used to be stuck inside all summer and couldn’t go out with my kids because I’d have a reaction. But with this jacket I can go out and play with the kids in the sun. It’s wonderful. I love it.

I find it runs small so I would order a size up.

Love the concept of a rash guard, so you can protect your skin without constantly reapplying sunscreen. That being said, this is sufficient for moderately sunny days. Wore this on a very sunny day and unfortunately did get a sunburn (albeit a mild one). Happy with my purchase and will continue to wear this, but just wanted to caution others that may have sun sensitivity that you may need to take other precautions if relying solely on this for protection.

The fit is flattering - a bit loose, but not baggy. However, I'd definitely recommend sizing down, as this runs large.

I purchased a Large after returning the XL which was far too baggy for me but fit my arm length perfectly. A size chart would be helpful.

    My current measurements are
42-34-44. I'm 180lbs 5'9" broad shoulders of 21 inches apart and lengthy arms 22 in. Pit to wrist. I tend to have trouble with fit in my shoulders/upper back, and arm length with jackets. The large fits comfortably, somewhat loungy on me, not fitted around the waist, which I'd prefer. Maybe with a larger bust (I'm 36/38C for reference) it would take and fill that extra fabric for a more fitted look. The arms are slightly shorter than I'd like, using the thumb holes pull a bit but still reasonable. I think a Medium would fit me exactly how I would like in everywhere but the arm and torso length, so a large is my best fit for this brand and I like it for the most part. Seems to protect well, a little warm in direct, non-cloudy sunlight but still comfy and light. Seems well made.

I ordered this in a small, but received a medium. I like it, although it's a bit large--I'm 5'3" and weigh 125, with a small build. My biggest concern, though, is that none of the tags mention that is provides sun protection. I have vitiligo (loss of pigment) and it's very important that I have verified sun protection. I'm afraid to rely on it for sun protection.

I found myself pretty blinded by the color of this neon yellow/green shirt but I wasn't too in to the other colors and I figured, if I get caught in a current at the beach, at least I'll be visible! I tried the light pink but it wasn't my thing and I didn't want a black swim shirt at the beach. It was really comfortable and I loved having the full zip to take it on and off when wet.

I wore it snorkeling and was able to put the hood under my mask so that my full head-neck-back was covered while snorkeling around. I think the sun protection was good because the only sun I got was a light burn on my wrists where the sleeves had floated up on my arms as I paddled around - it's a looser type fit. The good news is that this made me remember that it has thumb holes so the next time, I was fully covered. It also doubles as a light hoodie, though I doubt provides much warmth - maybe just a light cover against an evening breeze at the ocean. I wore it on a quick hike up a very hot hill and it was not stifling or clingy. The pockets and zipper are nice quality.
