I like this rash guard a lot, my grandson is 6.5 years and a little tall for his age. I got him a size 10/12.
It looks beautiful and good material but i had to return it because the WORD and NUMBER PRINTED ON IT somehow GOT FUSED TOGETHER in the bag so when I opened the top to try it on him part of the DECAL BROKE, so he didnt try it on, I returned it. Very Sad because we really liked it a lot, so beautiful but not good material used during manufacturing on the decal, no quality control, Tks

Bought this on may 17, 2019 to prepare for this summer's beach vacations.. my daughter wore this for the first time on July 12. On July 14, the letters are stuck together and there's a hole. This rash guard was never used in the washer or dryer. It was purely from New Jersey sun! I come back to my order to notify Amazon, only to find my return window closed on June 17.

I just saw another reviewer from December 2018, with the same issue. Be aware.

Good at first. One wash and all the lettering sticks together and when you peel apart it tears/stretches. The arms have stetched way out and the shirt is in bad condition.

Bad customer service. They wont allow a refund/return.

Look elsewhere for swim shirt this one disintegrates easily.

Good fit for a 9-13 year old child, sleeve length was good and shirt was not too long. Good product to keep the sunburn away without using so much coral damaging sun screen!

For some reason the sleeves are shorter than usual. Quality is great and I love Cressi but this model has that sleeve issue. Not a deal vreaker but it is good to know.

Runs a little big but it does the job for my daughter who gets to cold in swimming class! Looks just like the picture!

We ordered the XL and it was a bit snug. It appears size may run smaller than average.

The Cressi Young Long Sleeve Rash Guard top is a reasonable choice for protection from the sun and in keeping one comfortable in the cold water without uncomfortably restricting movement or causing skin rashes.

If your child is sensitive to things like tags on shirts, I feel its' best to point out that there is one on the collar area and rest close to the back of the neck. This tag can be removed pretty easily, however.

Care instructions are rinse in cold water after use. Do not machine wash or dry. Handwash in cold water. Do not clean with Bleach. Do not use wire hangers when drying. Do not store in direct sunlight or dry in sunlight. Do not iron. This shirt has a lot of care to remember. Between uses, it may be best to have a second shirt on hand just in case it doesn't dry fast enough to be used in a situation where needed after being cleaned. Slipping a wet shirt on even to become wet again quickly can prove a challenge.

The fabric of this shirt is smooth and feels soft against the skin. The shirt does not cling tightly to the body allowing for breathability of the skin.

I got the medium for my 7-year-old son. A medium is an 8-10 size but it fits him just fine without being too long on the arm or in the torso area. i would say if your child is between sizes it may be best to size up.

The color is bright and bold in white, dark blue, and light blue. I can always spot my right away. The text on the shirt hasn't cracked or become worn looking in any way. Time will tell in the longevity of the top but so far it's holding up.

I'm sure this top will be worn a lot during the Summer. It's a great solution to having to apply sunscreen often after being in and out of the water. Aside from being used in the water, this top works well with just protecting from the sun too.

This is a reasonably priced quality top and does as advertised.
