Available in 6 different color styles, the Sanabul Essentials Rash guard provides you with all the features youre looking for in a simple yet elegant design. Whether you need to show your Jiu Jitsu rank (IBJJF competition approved) or just want to match the rest of your outfit, we've got just what you need.
Just like the rest? Nope. We're the first ones to include a revolutionary underarm mesh panel that helps moisture escape away from your body and keep you dry.
The Essential series rash guard also includes other features not commonly found in this product category such as an anti-odor fabric treatment.
From the ocean to the gym, and everywhere in between.
No matter which activity you choose, we recommend doing it with the Essential rash guard. The graduated compression is ideal for not only grappling, wrestling, or MMA but almost all other activities including surfing, running, swimming / snorkeling, and more.
TL;DR version - Male. Height: 5'11'. Weight: 215lbs. More fatty than bulky. L fits perfect if you like tight rash guards. XL fits well and should be the option if you don't like very tight cloths. |
Just for reference I've been grappling 15 years, so I've owned dozens of rash guards. This one is pretty much a straight tube. Tight on top and too loose in the stomach. Kind of defeats the purpose of a rash guard to be worried fingers or toes catching. Seems like more of a shirt you would get for a chubby kid to wear at the pool. Also I could hear threads popping around the neck the first time taking it off. The pros are that is about as cheap as rash guards get and the off brand logo is black and unobtrusive so you only look like your from the wrong side of the tracks if someone gets close enough. In all honesty I will probably only use this in competition where showing your belt color is required or if all my other rash guards are dirty. Lol |
I started with one, and now I have four. These rashguards are perfect for grappling. I'm 5'7" 130 lbs and the small fits great. I wear them for no gi as well as under the gi. I've noticed a huge difference in how much cleaner I can keep my gi's (far less sweat/stains) if I wear one of these underneath. |
I’m sad to say, I can’t recommend this product. I really wanted it to be great, because Sanbul is actually affordable. I enjoy using lots of their other products, but this ain’t one. Don’t use for BJJ, unless you enjoy matburn. Due to the positioning of the seems on the back near the shoulder, this shirt actually makes matburn almost guaranteed. I got severe matburn for the first time in seven years while rolling BJJ when wearing this shirt for the first time. I recommend steering clear of using this as a BJJ rash guard until they fix this issue. On the plus side though, it feels very durable and would probably be good for other applications. |
I've been using these for about a month now on a couple-times-a-week basis. |
I bought Sanabul Tights and I decided to buy this rash guard and I followed the recommendation size (Small 5'5"- 5'8" / 140-155 lbs) of this brand and fit as expected (I am 142 lbs and 5'7). The bad thing that I do not like is the neck part, looks like can rip in any moment. The design is really cool. |
I've been wearing the heck out of this rashguard in the last 6 weeks. I use it for BJJ training 3 days a week (both gi and no-gi) and has already been through several washes. Stays form fitting and does not lose compression. Does not offer a large amount of compression but it's not necessary because it completely serves its purpose. Very breathable, traps sweat, and does not feel uncomfortable or overly hot under a Gi. I'm tall with an athletic build and the medium fits true to size. The waist is able to stretch out a bit and the arms will feel a bit tight if you have larger/muscular arms or larger shoulders, though not enough to interfere with comfort for me. I appreciate that it is a longer rashguard, I'm not a fan of the short ones. Great for those with longer torsos. I will be purchasing other colors! |
At the price the quality is ridiculous. I wore this for two weeks straight for boxing, muay thai, kickboxing, gi and no gi. I probably spent 20 hours in this rash guard. Since then it's gone on to be a regular piece of training gear. It's held up for countless hours of training and washing. If you're worried about the quality of the product for the price wash away those retched thoughts. Between this and the BJJHQ deals on 93 brand rash guards, I will likely not buy any other rash guards. |
Siento mejor calidad que marcas de 50 o 60dlls, por el costo creo que es la mejor opcion, ajusta perfecto. pedi S mido 1.72 y peso 70kg y quedo perfecta. |
La calidad es buena. |
Fit as expected... Nice shirt. |
