The Merino 365 New Zealand 100% Merino Longsleeve Baselayer with Thumbloops is the best thing that you can do to your outdoor clothing stash. Experience New Zealand merino for the unique fabric that it is. If this is the first time you have put on a merino garment, then you are in for a treat. If you have bought other merino before then be prepared for an upgrade. Merino 365 uses only the best merino available on planet Earth.

We source our merino direct from a New Zealand South Island merino farm and see it from farm to finish. Merino is the most amazing, functional, and comfortable fabric for any keen outdoors person. So whether you are hunting, fishing, hiking or just working outdoors then this is what you need.

  • Weather - Merino holds up in all conditions.
  • Doesn't Stretch Out - Merino 365 clothing has a naturally flexible ability to stretch and adjust to your body movements. You can breathe easily in merino clothing, even if it is tight on your body it is not restrictive. Merino will keep you feeling comfortable for longer when doing things like hiking, running, or any other activity.
  • Machine Washable Cold - An easy to care laundry regime means that our 100% merino products can be thrown in the washing machine and tumble dried on low, no hand washing or dry cleaning is required. And unlike polyester or poly-blend fabrics, merino does not need to be washed as often as synthetic base layer pieces.

The landfills are full of old clothes and rubbish that will not breakdown. At Merino365 we do not want to contribute to any more trash than is necessary.

Wool fibre is measured by microns (micrometre) with Merino sheep producing the finest in the world. The lower the micron number means a finer and softer product. Our merino measures 18.5 or less microns, meaning Merino 365 has no prickle and no skin irritation, just incredibly soft merino!

Merino does not catch fire quickly. If merino clothing does catch fire, it can put out the flame on its own (self-extinguish). In fact, Firemen, police, soldiers, and rescue teams are known to wear Merino wool clothing because of its natural fire protection.

Since merino absorbs moisture and releases it into the atmosphere, you will face less problems with being sweaty. We all know that the longer sweat hangs around, the more likely your friends and partners will not want to be around you.

My first merino piece, so I can't speak to its comparative quality. I will say that before buying I read many Amazon and reddit comments and decided this was the best bet for a sub $80 merino base layer top.

I am impressed with the quality. Wore it in 70 plus degree Florida weather, on a plane, and then in sub 20 degree Colorado weather (2 days in a row) . Comfortable throughout. No bad smell either, which would be a problem with cotton/synthetic.

The thumb holes are a nice touch. Since this is a baselayer you'll likely be wearing a pullover on top. The thumb holes allow you to keep the shirt sleeves in place when adding layers. I didn't keep my thumbs in the holes too long after though because the sleeves aren't too long.

The neck is fitted and the shirt length is long enough to tuck in. Good amount of stetchiness. Can't vouch for durability yet, but seems promising.

It's a little thinner than I expected, but it's softer than I expected too. Feels like a long sleeve cotton t-shirt. Being wool it's warmer than cotton of course. It will be a nice second layer for backpacking, worn over a wicking t shirt and under a fleece and wind/rain shell as part of a full cool weather system. This is my first wool shirt that's not a sweater and I'm impressed by the quality.

Quality, comfortable, and perfect (light)weight, adding warmth without overheating. The tall size is definitely long, which I like but just FYI. Very happy with this...

Very nice Merino wool shirt for the price. Compares to Icebreaker.

some posters have said that they use this to layer clothing during rather warm weather . No, no, no. this is not a light weight wool. I can only wear it during colder temps . The quality of the product seems excellent .

Hello, very nice indeed. I like the loops, thanks.

Fits well (5ft9, 33in waist, I went for the small)

    Quick delivery, as described.
