Fits all gears you need in one Bag
When I first opened the box I was nervous because it was so small - but don't let the size fool you. The bag is large enough to fit all of my sons gear without an issue. I purchased it for my 11 year old snowboarding son. And his gear fits perfectly. But, can it handle the gear for an adult? My boots are size 11.5 and all of the gear is XL... and I like to bring a lot of it. Can this bag contain it all? Yes, with a little creativity. Assuming this works as advertised on the actual mountain, I plan on buying another one for me! Pros: big, bottom waterproof material, overall material, chest strap, side pockets, front pocket, two loop handles. Cons. no waist belt, no extra loops, no spot for water bottle, a better design would be to have the ability to 'customize' the boot section. The front pouch is limited in how much you can get in there, but there is definitely unused space in the boot section.
Just received this boot backpack and I’m very happy with purchase. Looks and feels well constructed with waterproof material on the outside. LOTS of pockets and space for gear like goggles, helmet, gloves, knee pads, food, leggings, socks, etc. Compares very favorably to my previous Dakine boot backpack I bought several years ago in every way- costs less, looks better, exterior feels more durable, and more pockets.
After researching, these looked like the best bag for the quality, design, and money. I have yet to test the quality over time with usage and plan on updating this post. Our family of five got into/back into skiing this season and lots of friends recommended a boot/gear bag especially for the kids so they can pull their own weight. Also makes packing and storage efficient. Looks similar to Dakine design, which I liked yet cost less. Also Dakine reviews hoped for a waterproof bottom which this has. Again, time will tell. Also thought that kids could grow into an adult bag rather that getting a kid bag that would need replacing. Outdoor Master ran a discount for awhile as these appear to be a new release, so I got one a week for five weeks at $36 bucks each to fit our budget. I gave the first a look over for stitching and zipper quality, packed it and walked around before deciding to move forward. Sale is over and I still need one more. I’m a gear head and discerning, and at this point I’m happy with my purchases and relatively confident in the products performance, especially at this price point. Used on one trip so far and performed to expectations. Will update if necessary. Customer service at Outdoor Master replies to questions within ten minutes.
This is average quality decent backpack boot bag that should last for years. It very thin and feels a little cheaper than I thought it would though. Another person in my house has a similar bag from Dakine and the Dakine is better quality (stronger/more durable) and even seems a little bigger (even though both say 50L capacity) but is also almost double the price, si I guess you get what you pay for here. This one though (OutdoorMaster Ski Boot Bag - Ski and Snowboard Boots Travel Backpack with Helmet Compartment) does have a few extra smaller zipper pockets on the outside that Dakine doesn't have and people seem to want (although I don't really have a use for them, not putting my car keys, etc in this bag). Both of them have plenty of space and compartments for boots, gloves, goggles, helmet, etc. I like this style better than the V-shaped ones. I was looking at the Amazon Basics one too but didn't really want that logo on my ski boot bag...
Love this ski bag! First time traveling with it and it actually fits under the seat in front of me with all of my ski stuff. Put boots, pants, jacket, gloves, helmet, and goggles in the bag and probably have some leftover room. I have size 26.5 boots so I am sure if you do have giant feet the boots wouldn't actually fit under the chair in front of you. For what it's worth, United Airlines still considers it a personal item.
My wife paid 3X as much for Burton boot bag and man it's wayy smaller. I can fit so many things! Quality feels like it will last too! Wish she had gotten this one, but this isn't offered in a prettier color so she would never get one. But this serves its purpose and it's cleaned up the clutter for the trips to mountains. 100% satisfied.
This is a really well-made lightweight boot bag. It's smaller than a lot of bootbags, which is a good thing. I didn't really want a bag for carrying clothes or anything other than boots, gloves, and helmet. Those go in this bag with ease, and there is room for more, but not a change of winter clothes. The boots zip up in one compartment. The helmet zips into another compartment. There are other zippers for additional items. I just keep everything in one place so I don't forget anything when I go skiing. We live in a ski resort, so I use the bag as my "locker." The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that once you take your boots out, it doesn't stand up on its own. I'm sure it reduces the weight not to have sides that keep the compartment open, but you do have to hold open the compartment to get your boots in. If you put your helmet in first, the boots don't go in as easily because the helmet sits on top of the boots once everything is in. Having said that, because of the light weight and the streamlined footprint, I would buy it again. It just takes a little getting used to if you have had one that uses a rigid sides system.
Easily fits women's size 9 boots, helmet, goggles, two pairs of gloves, socks, water and an extra sweater. Thinking I can now also bring lunch with me to the mountain! Very comfortable to wear on the shoulders, the straps are nice, wide and padded. Good quality solid zippers. Waterproof all the way, was out on the ski rack all day on a snowy day, and everything stayed dry. Then was out in light rain/snow, and still dry. Very happy with the purchase!
Ok value for money
