Because I couldn't give it six! Honestly, I can't believe I waited so long to replace my Mountain Hardware balaclava --- which probably cost triple what this one did, and wasn't half as effective. Perfect weight to fit inside my mtn bike helmet while still keeping me perfectly warm in sub-freezing temps. |
Works pretty well. Wore it for the first time this morning at around 39 degrees. I just wish it was a little tighter on the face. When I put my helmet on it pushes down the face cover and it's not easy to pull back up with the helmet on. This was the biggest thing I was looking for when buying a Balaclava - compression. This one isn't ideal but it'll work, especially for $8. |
