Welcome to Malo'o! It's Hawaiian for "dry" and pronounced "mah-loh-oh". We are located in Solana Beach, CA and we love the ocean, mountains and the great outdoors. For most of the year, we are spoiled in Southern California with great weather. But, when it cools down, its time for the wetsuit. For years, we washed out our suits the old way and hung them on anything that was available. But we knew there had to be a better way! We tried everything that was out there and also a few home-made contraptions but we still suffered with "damp wetsuits" like most every other surfer... so we decided to do something about it. We knew there had to be a simpler and faster way to dry a wetsuit. We developed several prototypes until we hit upon one that was easy and fast, and was portable and could be used inside or out. Now that we had a solution to the "damp wetsuit syndrome" we had to share it with everyone and Malo'o was born. We also found that the Malo'o rack was great for drying our gear while snowboarding or camping. You can use the portable DryRack while you are at the beach, office or on the road. You can even open it all the way open and use at home. Designed to give you maximum flexibility, the ultimate DryRack goes where you do. No more smelly wetsuits or gear in the back of the car waiting until you get home or hung on anything available. The Malo'o DryRack protects your items while allowing them to dry. So the next time your gear is wet, don't throw or dump, hang it! Also by using a mounting suction cup is great for vehicles where the side mirror is low to the ground or have uniquely curved sides. Simply put, our mission is to enable you to enjoy more of what you love to do by giving you a simple and efficient way to dry you gear while on the go.

Do you head into the office after your morning run, ride or surf session? We do and that was one of the reasons we made the Malo'o DryRack. We just hated getting into the car after a day with wet gear sitting inside! Does anything smell worse than that? We don't think so. But putting on a damp wetsuit while trying to catch an after-work session is just about as bad.
Why do that to yourself? When you get to work, hang your wet gear and let it dry while you're making the big bucks!

Dry your jackets, socks, pants, gloves, hats, base layers and more. Place over your side mirror and you have a place to hang your gear while you're setting up or taking a break. When done, collapse and throw in the back for the next time. You'll hardly know it's there.
Have Ski/Snowboard racks? The Malo'o DryRack can attach to any of them.Read more
The Malo'o DryRack even works on low vehicles where the side mirror doesn't provide enough room to hang your gear. Attach a suction cup to your window and hang your DryRack, now you have plenty of room.
The Malo'o DryRack can mount to any roof, trunk or trailer hitch racks. Just use a strap or your favorite bungee cord to strap the DryRack to your rack. Make sure the rubber bumpers are supported or open the rack up fully to hang!
The Malo'o DryRack is perfect for apartment or condo living. By using a rafter bracket you can hang your DryRack from the balcony railing or short wall and your gear won't touch the wall or railing. No more notices about your wetsuits, towels and gear!
I probably am not going to use it on my car, but I needed an option instead of a flimsy drying rack that would eventually rust. I surf with my 2 kids in Nor Cal year round and we always have multiple wetsuits drying in the house. I hook this on a a towel rack we have in our laundry room and it lets me dry a suit away from the way and not hanging by it's shoulders. Love it. May try it on the car eventually but for now love it as a drying rack option in our laundry room.
For a Honda Fit, the bottom rubber pads that are meant to protect your car, do not make contact with the door. Instead the plastic arms lay against the door. It hasn’t damaged the car. Also, since my car is low to the ground, a few inches of my wetsuit lay on the ground when hanging from the rack. It would work better for a car or truck with more ground clearance without any curvature in the door below the mirror.
It’s very functional, and it will also look cool on my black Jeep when we’re camping. Great idea and light weight.
Clutch way to dry stuff when you're on the road, especially if you're living out of your vehicle. I use it to help dry my wetsuit and towel after surfing. Best solution for me while living out of my Tacoma.
Excellent product. I use it to dry my wetsuit, towels, etc and it works great. I only gave it four stars because I found it a bit overpriced for what it is.
Nice rack for my suit. I use two suction hooks to hang the rack and this has worked perfectly.
This was a Christmas gift for my dad and he loved it! He even said all his surfing buddies were super impressed and they all were going to order one. Dried his wetsuit faster especially in this colder weather. Great product.
We drive a van and love to surf. This is great for hanging wetsuits and towels. It’s made really well and has a soft rubber along the hanger and bump stops. Very cool.
