Received this a little over a month ago and attempted to use it for the first time yesterday. The unit was fully charged and updated but would not stay on. When turning it on it would say battery is at 100% and that it detected the golf course. Then, it would all of the sudden lock up and none of the controls worked. I restarted the unit several times throughout my round with the same results every time. Unfortunately I purchased this over 30 days ago and can not get an exchange. VERY disappointed and upset. UPDATE: Contacted customer service to fix the issue and was told that the initial update has to be done on a PC and NOT a Mac. They told me that they do not tell you this on the website or in the manual. After updating on a PC I tested the unit today and all works well.

This is a replacement purchase, my husband lost the first one he had. We tried several different GPS range golf gadgets and my not very tech savvy husband couldn't figure out how to use them (lots of wasted money). He can't live without this one though! I would highly recommend this Voice Caddy gadget to any golfer.

The product is amazing!!...the delivery was extraordinarily fast...depending the time you order...it can come in the next day...I've already bought two additional as gifts...on the course, everyone wanted to know about it. If there is a down side...on one course I played for some reason it said the wrong hole but the distance was correct. It didn't register the correct hole until the 18th...but again once we figured out that was the issue...it was minor as distance was what we needed....every other course I played...no issues...the only regret...I bought a Garmin GPS golf watch that is useless to me now...

Might not be as accurate as some other range finders but works well for me considering my current handicap. I would say it’s accurate within 5 yards which is fine for my skill level. Gets me close enough to the green. I’d buy this again.

Works very well and I love it. The VC is easy to use. I like having it with me even though our golf course has GPS in the carts to show you your yardage. Charge could be better, I definitely get 1 full round of golf out of it but if I forget to charge it then it will die before the end of my second round. I gave it 4 stars only bc of the lack of charge time.

As a relatively new golfer I needed to learn how far I hit with my range of clubs. This device measured my well-struck shots and by noting those could develop a table of my typical yardages by club. Very important. Then, it is a simple way to get a reading in a few seconds on the distance to the green from where you are for club selection. I am presbyopic and need reading glasses - having a screen-based device means I would be taking my glasses out and putting them on/off VERY frequently. This, positioned on my full brimmed had just above my right ear, simply tells me the numbers. No glasses (other than my sunglasses). Good product and has great battery life. After use on 18 holes I still usually have 60-70% of battery remaining.

The battery on my first vc300se lasted for 9 months. The battery warrantied is only good for 6 months. The unit its self is warrantied for 1 year. What good is a 1 year on vc300se if the battery quits in 9 months and has a warranty of only 6 months------ can't use it with a bad battery that only last 10 to 12 holes. Had I known this I would have bought the extended warranty on the first vc300se and saved a ton of $$$$$.

This little GPS device works so well with so little effort. I golf at many different courses and all I do is turn it on. It knows where I am and what hole I am starting on. Occasionally I check it’s accuracy with a range finder and it is always within a yard. The battery lasts a long time and charges quickly.

This product is easy to use and accurate and does exactly what it says it will do. So why only 3 stars? Because it should do more-give you lay up distances, distance to bunkers etc.

Bloody brilliant

Ordered same as a friend had unit now i have one and all my foursomes have one great unit....
