The front part of the strap contains the heart rate module and the strap that goes around your back is made of a soft fabric and is adjustable to your size.
Once it's paired with your compatible device the first time, it will automatically recognize it each time.
The fabric of the strap can be removed and hand-washed as often as needed.
1 x Chest Belt Strap (only strap not including transmitter)
We recently needed to add a second band for workouts due to my husband and I working out back to back and not wanting to share a sweaty band so we found this and it works perfectly! Was easy to adjust, stays in place well and our heart rate monitor snaps in and reads perfectly. We do notice on occasion that if it doesn't read we do have to wet the back that touches the skin and it works right away. Forget I'm wearing it during most workouts as it never itches or rubs wrong.
I have an older bluetooth chest sensor for OTF. It had gotten to the point that I had to wash the strap before each class for it to work, and lately had gotten to the point even that wasn't enough. Found this, and it's great. Good price and fit. I'll keep on using the old sensor, and don't want to buy a new one. Just the strap is what wears out, and replacements are pretty easy and cheap to find (Vanna gesture toward this product). Push pace
I have a Garmin heart rate transmitter that works well with this chest strap. It's made of softer material than the stock chest strap that comes with most garmin cycling gps units. Thus far I've found that it is softer on the skin, but similar in tension required to hold it in place. Time will tell how it holds up. Thus far it's working great and I would recommend it to anyone.
Purchased to use with Wahoo - worked right away, good elasticity and quick drying. Clasps are firm and clip in sensor well. Accidentally put through the dryer with no issues. Great price for a generic product - will update if the elastic starts to droop.
Works great w/ Garmin. The old suddenly stopped working and after replacing the battery w/o seeing an improvement, I was looking st purchasing a new unit. Luckily, I found this one and it worked out great. Good buy, I recommend it.
I couldn’t tell from the description or other reviews if it would work with my Orangetheory monitor, but it snaps in perfectly. I’m a sweater, and the clasp on my original strap had lost some of its rubberized coating; the exposed metal rusted and constantly would make my side itch. This clasp is more beefy (less likely to get bent) and more heavily coated. I’ve used it in a few OTF classes and a couple bike rides so far, and it seems to pick up faster and with less artifact. It’s also a softer, almost velvety consistency, quite comfy,
This does not work reliably when walking or running. Often (about 50% of the time) it gives a "number" that appears reasonable at first, but seems to be related to the cadence of your walking (how often your feet hit the ground). So it speeds up for running and slows down for walking. But it does not vary as you would expect for exertion - walking up and down a hill gives the same "heart rate" on the climb and the descent.
I bought based on the good ratings, but it’s been a disappointment. It loose up easier during bike rides. When the weather is cold, say below 55, it tend to not record early on in rides and sometimes not at all. It works well indoors and was fine during the hot summer months. I had not experienced the late starting problem with any previous strap paired with my Tickr monitor. This was the first one. I experienced this problem often back when I had a Garmin heart monitor. Normally, you can overcome it if you use medical bonding gel, but that gets old. I guess that’s what I do next or buy a better strap. The sad part is I just bought this in June and July and you really should get more out of your purchase.
Product is well built and brought new life to my HRM-run. It was dropping out and reading low. Quite old and thought for $15 it was worth trying a replacement strap. Garmin's strap was very expensive. My HRM snapped right onto this strap and worked flawlessly on a 5km run.
Bought this after my strap for my Garmin Forerunner 230 started to get inaccurate reading on any run longer than 40min. Simply popped off the transmitter and put it on this new one. So far so good, have done runs between 45-90min so far and the readings have been extremely accurate!
i have this for now 1 year and still look new. Work well
Worked perfectly . No issues .Seems better quality than original .
After less than 3 months use it no longer transmits to my Garmin & that's after drenching the electrodes with water and a snug fit to the chest plus a new battery in the transmitter
Works great, quality is there. Buy it!
Using it work my Garmin HRM sensor. Works way better than the one it came with.
Great. As advertised. Compatible with the Garmin heart rate transmitter.
Very similar to the original
