The extra width and depth in toe-box and forefoot reduces pressure on feet and prevents toe stubbing.

What is Lymphedema
Lymphedema is a condition caused by a blockage in the lymphatic system - part of the immune and circulatory systems. When there’s a blockage in the lymphatic system, fluid collects in tissues causing swelling. It typically occurs in one arm or leg, but sometimes both arms or both legs can be affected.
While lymphedema cannot be cured, it can be treated. Wearing compression socks or sleeves can help tremendously.
Type of Lymphedema
There are two types of lymphedema – primary lymphedema and secondary lymphedema.
· Primary lymphedema is the result of a body abnormality of the lymph vessels and is a rare, inherited condition.
· Secondary lymphedema results from an identifiable damage to or obstruction of normally-functioning lymph vessels and nodes
· Worldwide, lymphedema is most commonly caused by filariasis (a parasite infection), but in the U.S, lymphedema most commonly occurs in women who have had radiation treatment following breast cancer. (medicinenet.com)
How does compression benefit lymphedema?
Compression therapy involves the use of high quality, gradient compression garments to induce efficient blood and fluid drainage in arms or legs. A compression sock, stocking or sleeve is designed to fit tight around the ankle and loser at the top for a pumping effect. Compression levels range from mild support, to medium support to firm support or extra firm. Proper size and fit are crucial, as too tight of a garment can pose further risk for a lymphedema patient.
I'm so sad because I really needed these due to severe edema. However, within the first time putting them on it tore a big hole. This is a shame because I was so excited that some actually fit because my legs are 24" at the calf. I'm only 5'1/2" tall though. While I was pulling them up the very first time; they ripped. I took pictures as proof.
I needed some long compression socks, but all the other ones I tired never really went all the way to me knee because of my thick ankles. At first I was HIGHLY skeptical they would even fit, so it does take a bit to get fully on... they are compression socks! But these ACTUALLY go all the way to me knee! These are SO comfy too and just what I was needing and looking for. I got a size XXL in black. The extra room at the toes dosent bother me... the overall comfort of the socks outweighed the extra toe space poof lol. Gonna buy another pair for sure.
Although I seldom write reviews, I read them extensively before purchasing a product. This is what motivates me to share with you that I have found these Mojo compression knee-hi socks to be extremely helpful to me in addressing the swelling I have in my ankles and lower legs. After trying several different brands and styles of compression socks I overwhelmingly chose Mojo and now have 13 pair (white and dark colors) that I wear daily. They are athletic socks and work well with tennis and other casual shoes; I personally wear a lot of Skechers walking shoes. It is recommended that you hand wash these. I agree that is probably best, but I have had very good outcome putting them in a zippered lingerie bag, machine washing in cold water, and hanging over the shower rod to dry. I'm totally satisfied. I do have to use a simple donning appliance to put them on, since they are very firm and I can't stretch them easily with my older-person hands :-) There are also donning sprays that work very well. Hope this review helps!
I am a very tall and thick gentleman, so basically any compression stockings that I found did not even come close to fitting. These are a bit pricey, but not really for compression stockings, but most importantly they fit! I originally tried the 3x but they were too small, the 5x seem to fit perfect (I have 22ish inch calves). It wasn't just the calves, but finding ones long enough that would actually come up to my knee, which these do great (I am 6'4" tall).
I think Mojo and I will be fast friends. The first thing that I noticed when I try them on is that I wasn't getting very much compression for my old stockings of another brand. The Mojo stockings were a little difficult to get on, but you would expect that from a new pair of compression stockings. Once they were on my legs I felt that welcoming feeling of compression that gives me the support and comfort that I need to get through my day. Another thing about the Mojo stockings is that they are a half the price I was paying for another pair of well-known National brand compression stockings.. I'm going to wear these on a long trip that I'm taking, airline travel, and that will be the test. But based upon how I feel having one them for an entire day, I believe that I have made a new friend with the Mojo compression stockings.
Very comfortable and very affordable.
I bought these stockings to control lower leg swelling after knee surgery. They do an excellent job. They apply firm pressure and are somewhat easy to apply if you follow the suggested application method. I wish they mad a petite version as I am a short person and if I pull them up all the way they roll at the knee. If if try not to pull them up all the way they can bunch, but I'm sure they would be perfect for someone of average height or taller. I would just like to see a short person version as they are a high quality product for a very good price.
This hose came a long way from fitting either my foot or leg. I looked, but there was really no sizing information on this product. I guessed what size I might use but since the product, when it arrived didn't come close to fitting either my foot or leg, I had to return it. For a product of this type, size is everything. Why is there no size information? Length of foot, circumference of leg at the calf, length of from foot to knee - all these are crucial.
These are very nice socks and seem to be of good quality, but the foot is too small to get on my husband's wide foot. We were careful and measured his calves and ankles to make sure that we got the right size, and while he can get the top of the sock up to mid calf he cannot get his foot in the sock part from below the ankle area. We even tried using some powder to help the sock slide with no effect the foot part is simply too narrow and will not slide down past the base of his toes and there is a piece of sock where the end of the sock is that is still flapping beyond his toes. We would try a larger size but then figure the top of the sock would be too big. It is such a shame as the socks were just what we were looking for otherwise. Hopefully someone in the family can use them or know of someone who could use them.
Bought this as it said it can fit extra wide calves, purchased it, did not fit whatsoever
Unfortunately this product did not work for me. Too tight over my instep and ankle. The surgery I had results in my feet being very swollen and the tightness of the stockings make my feet hurt. I’m sure the stockings would be fine for other people just not me.
Still did not fit on my leg and I purchased the larger size.
Well made very durable very satisfied with my purchase.
Brilliant item. Strong yet easy to wear.
The toe is weird but the socks are great.
