We are a healthcare brand founded by two Medical Doctors. As doctors, we can appreciate the difficulty patients may have with their wrists as well as the day-to-day challenges that most of us would take for granted. We understand the pathophysiology behind wrist conditions, and know what works for our patients.

Our solution is simple. We offer a range of carefully designed joint compression products. They work largely on the principle of compression, which reduces swelling and has a remarkable effect on symptom control. Our products provide the perfect combination of compression and support.

We hope that you find our products useful and start to notice positive changes to your life.

Wanted to like these but after trying for 15 minutes my thumb started to tingle from loss of circulation. Nice fit around the wrist which I was hoping for but can't wear because of the thumb issue. Will be returning. Company contacted me and said they would send me a new revised product. Can't beat that. Just recieved larger improved Wrist Bace from Dr.Arthritis free of charge. Much better support with no thumb issues. Great company that cares about their customers. Thank you.

I have tried over 5 types of similar protective wrist braces and like this one the best by far. I use it when playing racquet sports (tennis, pickleball) due to the severe arthritis in my wrist. I finally had wrist surgery and now that it has fully healed, I still wear this brace every time I play racquet sports, to protect that weaker wrist and base-of-thumb joint. It is soft, pliable, wraps easily with sticking your thumb through the hole then wrapping it to close with the velcro end. It will likely fit nearly any wrist size. You can make it as tight or loose as you like. It doesn't have any metal or stiff pieces in it so you can play sports with it and it doesn't impede your movement. Yet I can feel the support it gives and it keeps me from over-flexing my wrist and re-injuring it. I also like that it is mostly flesh-toned beige and not too bulky, so it is not that noticeable (I wish it didn't have the black edging on it, but it makes it a bit more stylish). I would highly recommend it.

This is the second Dr. Arthritis wrist brace I have purchased, as I wore the first one out after six month's of almost daily use. I remain just as pleased with this product as I was the first time I ordered it. I'm an artist who has put her hands through the ringer. While I won't wear the brace when painting, it most certainly helps reduce the wear and tear of everyday tasks so that I can still paint after a full day of repetitive motion at my day job. The brace is easy to use and easily adjustable, with a one-size-fits all Velcro band; my hands are on the small side, and I'm still able to achieve a comfortable fit. The material is comfortable, but it does require weekly (at least) washing, as it will pick up sweat and dead skin during the natural course of being used. Hand-washing the brace in the sink or shower with soap and warm water is sufficient, with air drying afterwards. I have been extremely happy both with my first brace and the Dr. Arthritis compression gloves, which I also recently ordered a new pair of, having also worn out my first pair. My hands may be high maintenance at this point in their life, but Dr. Arthritis products helps them keep going, for which I'm greatly appreciative.

The wrist support is well made, stays in place and is reasonably comfortable to wear. I got this one because it was the least cumbersome I had seen and easy to move your hand in, but still provide support. Because it only covers the wrist and doesn't have an edging added around the thumb hole it is slightly less comfortable around the thumb. Since it only covers the wrist area it needs to be secured tighter, which makes it too difficult to put on and remove without releasing the strap, which is a feature I look for so I can easily slip it on or off during the night. Other wrist supports I have are able to be put on and removed without readjustment of the straps. Also since it only covers the wrist area with no support it is not quite as effective as other supports. In the past three nights it completely eliminated the pain and numbness that started in the middle of the night within several minutes of putting it on one night and almost completely the second night. The support was not effective the third night, but replacing it with a well padded support extending from the palm to several inches past the wrist with a metal insert that night eliminated the pain and numbness within a few minutes. The other wrist supports I have are usually effective within several minutes, even with severe pain radiating up the arm before putting them on, but they all have different tradeoffs. This support seems more suited to daytime use since it does not completely prevent poor wrist positioning at night.

I have a few different types of wrist supports to relieve moderate carpal tunnel symptoms that periodically occur at night (a few days at a time or every night for several weeks at times). These include a reversible well padded longer (~8" long) support extending from the palm to several inches past the wrist with a metal insert, a shorter one (~6" long) made of stretchable cloth material extending from the palm to the wrist with a metal insert, another pair of longer ones (~7" long) with a sock type lining and 3 large velcro straps, which was only available in small/medium size, extending from the palm to several inches past the wrist with a metal insert, and this short very thin reversible one primarily only covering the wrist with no metal insert.

There are tradeoffs between the different types. This thin one is comfortable and the least cumbersome, but not as easy to put on or remove and does not provide as much support, especially at night. The well padded one is very comfortable, easy to put on or remove without adjusting the straps since it can be worn looser because it is longer, but is the most cumbersome because of the size and padding (better as a night time brace). The short one made of stretchable cloth material is not quite as comfortable because of the lack of any padding, but it is easy to put on or remove without adjusting the straps because of use of the stretchable fabric instead of neoprene with non-flexible straps. The other shorter set works fairly well in terms of comfort and support, but the small/medium size requires the two outer straps to be too tight for me; however, only the middle strap is needed to get an adequate fit, so the tightness of the outer straps can be eliminated, but the middle strap still needs to be loosened to put on or remove the support. The inside sock liner also makes it more difficult to put on without releasing straps.

This unfortunately did not work for me and the pain I have on the pinky side of my wrist.

The way the wrap goes first over the back of my hand, and then around means that the majority of the wrist support goes to the thumb-side of my hand - and my pain is on the pinky side. I tried putting it on "inside out" (so that it wrapped under the hand first and then up and over on the pinky side) and the support was much better, but it's not designed for this so the velcro ends up on the wrong side and you can't fasten it.

I tried to make it work, but I will have to send back. (Also, as other reviewers have said, it does have a petroleum smell when you first to use it.)

Update: The company reached out and is sending a different type of wrap, at no extra cost, so hopefully that works for my particular type of wrist pain. I appreciate the effort to find me something that works.

This seems to be a well made support brace that gives me added support for my wrist. I have RA and my wrist is painful. Sometimes I wear it without putting my thumb through the hole if my hand is also hurting, and it still gives my wrist support. I would definitely purchase another product from this company.
