Quite comfortable for a throwable PFD. After reading a few reviews about inexpensive throwables being very uncomfortable and because this is ideally kept in your cockpit while out on the water, comfort does matter. If it's uncomfortable, it would likely be kept below and if you lose someone, how far is the boat going to move while you go below and come back with the throwable?

You get what you pay for - imagine trying to pull someone up and the crappy one with half straps tears the thin nylon and they drown. There are 2 interior pads of the same size one on top of the other. There is very little movement of the pads. I've had identical cushions in the past and those pads of the same construction lasted 10 years before I sold the boat and them. They were quite comfortable as seats and rugged enough to keep their shape. I expect these to perform the same.

The construction looks good, the foam has nice density, and the cushions arrived quickly. But one is blue and the other is . . . well, it's blue too - but not the same blue. Not that I'm anal - I certainly would not return one hoping to get a perfect match - but if you are someone who wants your sail covers, your fenders, your dock lines, and your cushions to match perfectly, be prepared for a mild disappointment.

Bought a few of these to bring with us when we are kayaking instead of wearing life vests. Mostly we use as a back cushion. They work great, haven’t had any problems with them.

It's great that these are still being sold. It's first duty is as a large tractor cushion because the new seat is lower than the old seat. It's second duty will be as my 1976 small fishing boat cushion.

I returned these flotation cushions immediately after purchase. They are too hard for sitting. Also, a piece of cardboard or similar material slides around between the two foam layers. Felt cheesy.

One of the most comfortable throw cushion! I sit on it when riding on the boat, dont mind the choppy waves now. Will definitely order it again!
