It's good at what it does but be sure you're getting the correct three prongs for your 30 amp connection as this one was not the one I needed. Not all 30 amp three prong plugs are created the same and mine needed two additional locking "notches" that this one didn't have
I have no knowledge of how electrical items work. I was told by my electrician what adapter I needed and still the info was foreign to me, however, after reading all the information and explanation from this company on their Adapter, I felt I had found the right one! YES I DID! The adapter is working perfectly and I have Shore Power from my 30Amp RV outlet at the house to my 30Amp Boat plug sitting on the trailer!
The unit is of high quality, just wanted to save those the time that would use this for a generator. The plug is very heavy and pull its self out with the vibration of the generator.
works as advertised. Good quality and value.
Good, heavy adapter.
Allows you to use an ordinary 30 amps RV extension to replace your twist-lock one if it breaks. The cable gets down with a 90° angle along your RV's side.
