These handles came up when I searched for cabinet pulls. I thought they just resembled dock ties. They are actually dock ties. The bolts are too short to attach them to my cabinets so I have to find longer bolts. Also, my mistake, but I thought they were metal but they're plastic. I think they will still look ok on my cabinets.
These would have gotten a 5-star review if the bolts weren't so short. I had to go to a hardware store and purchase longer bolts. The cleats themselves are great, but providing bolts that are too short to do the job is simply unacceptable. Cleats have to hold a lot of weight and need to be through bolted to whatever they are attached to. In my case these were being built into a dock. The bolts were not long enough to be thru bolted.. As supplied, they were not sturdy enough to do the job and I had to buy additional bolts.
I used these as cabinet handles on our kitchen cabinets at our lake home. Turned out beautiful! Had to buy longer bolts, though, to accommodate the thickness of the cabinet. It was worth it!
They came as I expected except that whatever "screw" they sent was like nothing I had ever seen. Now maybe that type of "screw" is used only on boats, I don't know...but i needed to attached them to some trees, so I just had to get other screws. Not a big deal, however another trip to get what i needed was the con....:) otherwise all is good.
These share the same bolt pattern as my pemlico wilderness system. I'm sure it's a standard size. Cheap and do the trick. Most boats have 4 ore drilled ola es to seat these.
Strong enough for boats up to 1000 pounds in small lakes with waves under one foot.
Light duty. Used for an aluminum skiff. Nice product, perfect for my application. If I was mooring something weighty I would go with Galvanized steel.
I used some for the boat and then I thought about how great they would be to hand stuff from all our shelving in the garage. Just get some washers to add behind and you can hang anything’s my on these. They are sturdy and will hold some serious weight.
