Brands:Brand: Springfield Marine
Springfield Marine 1610415-A Kingpin Fixed Height Post - Standard 15". Use with any KingPin seat mount & standard base (sold separately). Hefty 1-3/4" diameter post, designed for use in marine environments.
This is great, it fit right into the post mount on my Tracker Grizzly and my seat dropped right into it. I am 220 pounds and like to sling my line way out there. I can sit and cast with no issues, it feels very solid and was a great value.
It might be that my seat base is not the same brand, but the diameter of the hole and the pole is all the same, its just a little loose, but I'm keeping it and will continue to use. cant really beat the price and it is still very sturdy.
Got me up higher off the casting deck. Knees are thanking me. Well built.
Perfect night I can sit comfortably finally and no more contortionist moves to operate trolling motor foot control.
Product has obviously been unpackaged and used then resealed with trash inside manufacturers clam shell and restapled - photos of the pack immediately on unboxing. Will open and inspect to clean and use for fishing trip tomorrow. Not often Disappointed by my Amazon purchases.
I like it it works on my bass boat yes it will lock in when you pop it in there's two plastic Nubs on the bottom if you don't want to lock in just take them off I'm happy with the item
Solid seat post, has a tight fit in my mount. I just received the post not too long ago and it says "rust resistant" so I'll see how that goes. I may update this review if the post gets rusty after a few fishing trips in the rain.
The product is very well made and works as intended but I should have got the 13 inch one. I'm 5' 10" and when I sit in the seat only my toes touch the floor.
l purchased this post to go with my new Swivl-Eze base plate and Shoreline seat base. It stated this post will work with all 3/4” seating components but I discovered that that is not completely true. Upon assembly of the seating I discovered that there is a fair amount of wobble to the seat. I measured the post with my digital calipers and it read 0.743” rather than the 0.750” that it should be. I also checked my baseplate and it measured 0.750 and so did the seat plate. I am thinking if all the components were of the same brand you wouldn’t have this problem.
