Simple bow socket. Was looking to replace an existing angled socket so I bought these. They are not angled. They go on either way. They do have some clearance inside to allow the bow room to move but I qouldn't really call these angled when compared to the ones I was trying to replace. Was a waste of money but not worth the time or effort to return them.

The slots are too big to hold the support bow and the bow then flips over. Need to match the bow socket with the thickness of the support bow.

These brackets fit my boat perfectly. I made my own bows out of thin oak lumber, I ripped down and varnished. The brackets were easy to install, and hold the ends of either wood or fiberglass bows.

works good no problems here

These bow sockets are flatter than the plastic sockets much sturdier, and make the boat look like they were professionally installed.. the plastic ones we had, we were always catching our cloths or towels on.. or scratching ourselves on..

very cheap

To wide for any existing boat bows I can find. No mount screws or instructions. They seem shallow as well. Not sure what the plastic backer is supposed to do. Not as good as ones I have purcahsed in the past

They are sturdy metal with a plastic insert backing so the bow don't scratch the boat.

these sockets worked great on my 14 foot aluminum boat
they should at least supply the screws for the price they charge
a little pricy but they did the job

this installed easiliy and looks just like the originals on my 1977 Grew 205 bowrider

Haven’t had time to use it yet but it should work for the application I’m planning it for.

Received as described.
