I tend to burn instead of tan- am sun sensitive.

This is a Super light and breathable hooded sun shirt. Packs really small. I wore this almost daily above 10-11k feet for 40 days in Indian Himalaya. Huge sun screen savings and really appreciated how well it protected my ears, head and neck.

It did absorb dust and glacial silt and was impossible to clean but once back to civilization it washed well and looks like new. I have a small amount of abrasion on back and cuffs but no holes.

The alloy color deflects the sun well and kept me cool. I am 6’ and 180 with wide shoulders and fit a large perfectly: just slightly loose. Surprising as I wear XL cotton t shirts and for lots of bike clothes I need an xxl up to 4xl.

Cuffs are weird and unfortunate. I wish they had thumb hole to hold cuff out to protect back of hand. The hand pockets aren’t large enough for my hands and prevent use of bike gloves. But the cuffs don’t stop shirt from being beyond essential.

The cuffs are long and tight, with mittens - so you don't scratch your face when you sleep? What were they thinking? (and when the mittens are on, the sleeves are too short). If you have to wear the shirt, slitting them length-wise is an option.

The fabric is lighter and more breathable than anything else out there. UPF 15 is the trade-off. Full coverage hood with neck protection. While very breathable, fabric feels warm for its weight.

Really like this Echo Hoody -- Super lightweight, packs down to almost nothing, and breathes well - great to throw in the backpack for a back up against a chill.... Only negative comment: the new mitten/cuffs are a little odd. They prevent you from rolling the sleeves up as they are not very flexible .. I would prefer the old thumb hole type.. In addition, I prefer the old drawstring at the hood. Other that that- it's great!

I own way too many hoodies but I really wanted this one. Very light fabric that nevertheless feels quite strong. This is a hoodie that fits under a heavier jacket quite easily and is very breathable. You can't go wrong with this hoodie.

Great as a base layer, and the hood saves your face from the sun.

Nice lightweight base layer. I use it for sleeping on backpacking trips. Super comfortable

Great product. The fabic snags too easily and runs visibly. But as a hoodie for wearing around the house or working out in, it's almost perfect. I just tend to wear things pretty hard, so the delicate fabric is an issue.

    Works great.

    First class product

    - Material is good for a hot day.
    - Dries quickly.

    Not so much:
    - They have used a weird purple/ pink stitching, hemming for the men's blue design.
    - needs a string to be able to tighten the hoodie.
    - mitten design is not useful.
    - material is snaggy.

Fits well. Lightweight. Comfortable. Would purchase again.
