The Frogg Toggs ToadSkinz Pant is a rain pant made of a hybrid fabric called ToadSkinz that delivers the look and feel of a traditional polyester rain suit with our trademark windproof, waterproof, breathable, microporous DriPore film and a non-woven inner liner. The pant features fully sealed and taped waterproof seams to keep moisture out. Adjustable, zippered leg openings with storm flap are provided for easy on/off over boots and shoes. The adjustable elastic waistband with webbing belt and quick-release buckle allow the wearer to achieve a secure and comfortable fit. Both the camo print and black are perfect for hunting, fishing, biking, camping, hiking, jogging, and more outdoor activities.
I wanted to try and give some helpful feedback on sizing. I am 5'10" 210 lbs. When I measure around my waist at the top of my jeans I get 38". Although, I wear Wrangler relaxed fit straight 34x30 jeans and they fit comfortable. Plenty of room to slide my thumb around inside the waistband. The size M Medium in these pants fit perfect. The waist is snug pulling over my jeans but once they are past the hips the fit is perfect. Length is like a 32-33" inseam which will be perfect for ATV riding for the extra length when sitting. The Toadskinz have a great feel and are heavy duty. The side zips and velcro are top notch. The M looks normal and not too baggy when walking. The only downside is there is no pass through pocket to get into my jeans pockets. Also, if your hips are a little bigger than mine it would be easy to cut a 2" slit down the front at the waistband to ease up the fit. The attached belt would secure them just fine and you wouldn't even notice the cut. Tested by standing in lawn sprinkler, direct spray for 10 min and stayed nice and dry. Should be good in mud also. Great value for price. Hope this helps. C
These are supposed to be hunting pants. That's why they're camouflaged! For hunting! I just got these pants because I liked that they were waterproof, and had a good pattern for a reasonable price HOWEVER they sound like a bull moose crashing through a music store. If you're sitting in a blind all day long these would be a great shell for over some sweatpants (I could fit both legs down one pant easily), but if you plan on making any movements without getting busted by a deer or other sensitive game these are the exact opposite of what you need.
I’m 5’-9” tall 175 pounds with 32” waist and 31” inseam. The rain pants I got are too long and the waistline is a bit snug. This confirms what others have said in reviews. I’m mainly using this in my fishing boat so it isn’t that big of a deal. However if I was hiking or walking with these I would need to modify the length or get another product.
The length for me (6'5") was good, material was fabulous and warm in 45 degree temp moving across the lake. However, sizing is a bit weird - the legs were quite roomy (it's good to have some room for moving around, but they overdid it a bit on these) - however, the waist on the XL was quite tight for someone with a 38-40 inch waste - could barely get them over a pair of blue jeans worn underneath for layering. I would be afraid to go to the 2XL to get more room in the waist for fear that the legs would look like clown pants.
*Waterproof as long as you are very gentle with them. Shortly after getting them, I went for a walk in the woods and a stick lightly bumped my knee and within minutes I had a very wet knee. The damage to the pant leg was tiny and I had to look for it, but it made for a leaky situation. I made a patch out of circular cut piece of black Gorilla duct tape and that has worked so far.
I purchased my first Gore-Tex jacket more than 20 years ago for nearly $300. These ToadSkinz provide equivalent protection at a fraction of the cost. Bought for hiking but are suitable for riding my motorcycles in rain as well.
If you ride a motorcycle in any conditions. These are the ones for you, well worth the price. They are very well made lightweight. I anticipate these lasting a very long time.
felt very well-made, but like other people have mentioned, they run pretty big/wide in the legs. I'm assuming that's because you would wear this as a layer over pants/jeans, but even with that, it still runs a little big.
sizes are not correct at all, bought a mens medium and it fits like a xxxl, they are huge, will never use them
GOOD Stuff, good price
