I'll start this review by saying the sizing chart for these shorts is confusing. I am 73 inches tall, 180 pounds, and wear trousers with waist size 32 inches. By height and weigh, the chart says I need shorts size XXL. By waist size, I need shorts size Large. I chose to ignore the height and weight measures and used my waist size to order Large. I made the correct choice. I like the fit.

Most of the exercise shorts I own are made of a mix of polyester + some sort of elastic material. These shorts are 100% polyester. They do not have any stretch in their material at all.

The shorts fabric feels rough/stiff rather than smooth/soft like my other shorts. No issue with this.

When I have a really sweaty workout session, sweat trickles down the outside of these shorts rather than being absorbed by the fabric (see picture).

These shorts dry quickly. Nice.

Inseam length for these shorts is four inches.

Two side pockets are each about 6 inches deep. I feel comfortable keeping my phone and wallet in them.

The single back pocket is about 4-1/2 inches deep and has a velcro closure.

Mesh lining keeps me cool and comfortable.

I was surprised to see washing instructions say NOT to tumble dry these shorts. I contacted the seller to ask why. The response was "this will damage the short and make it wrinkle." I'm a little nervous about this. I have other clothes that need to be air dried, but none of my other shorts have this stipulation. I fear some day I will accidentally put these shorts in the clothes dryer with my other clothes and possibly ruin them. The shorts lose a star in this review for this reason.

Upon opening the package I was impressed with the quality of the product, the material was smooth but durable. The inside of the short does contain a mesh liner like other swimwear, which wouldn't make the shorts ideal for gym workouts but makes them ideal for outdoor and aquatic workouts.

After washing the shorts they stayed true to their size and color and held up very well without creating any stray threads or fraying.

Be sure to pay close attention to the size chart! I am usually a medium, but I am a large with this product and it fits perfect.

sizes run small, a 3x I ordered was maybe an Xl.

I like them, they do say they are Swim Trunks. I do workout in them they are a good mix of swim and gym. They don't have as much range of motion as gym shorts, but much better than a normal swim suit.

After a few weeks of wearing these, I am mostly happy with them. They look great and are comfortable for walking and running .They also seem to be pretty durable.
