The ROCBOC heated vest is perfect for fall/spring weather when the temperature in SoCal drops into low 50's F at night. I don't like to wear heavy clothing indoor and hate to wear long sleeves and pants. Heated vest becomes a good addition to stay comfortable indoor and short outdoor chore runs at night like taking out the trash.
RocBoc heated vest has 5 heating plates with 2 in the front and 3 in the back. They can be controlled separately with 2 switches. Each switch has 3 settings but usually I just use the highest one. The listing is a little misleading on the product description. Each plate doesn't product 60C which will cause sever burn to the skin next to the plate. My readings with infrared thermometer gun on each plate is about 90F so that translate into 30C or so. The skin next to the plate usually gets a little red so I believe if the plate really produce 60C then you will suffer a burn on the skin. I run the vest with battery bank ranging from 8000 mAh and it will last about 3-4 hours.
The vest is very light and comfortable. I wear medium top and large vest fits a little loose. Since it has no sleeve it will not protect you from a windy condition. One thing I would like to see is slightly bigger plates to more heat can be felt. Another thing is to have a bigger pocket so I can fit a bigger power bank in the pocket where it connects to the power cable. Also a zipper on the pocket to prevent the battery bank from coming out will be nice.
So far I have not experienced any problem and will probably order a heated jacket for the winter.

Excellent purchase for the price point.

I purchased this vest to wear underneath my motorcycle jacket on cooler days. It does what it says. Plug it into a charging bank just make sure you have the correct voltage some charging banks come with two different charging voltages so make sure you’re using the higher one and it warms up front and rear and keeps you toasty inside the jacket. I use low or medium because high tends to be a bit too warm inside the motorcycle jacket.

The buttons will not turn on even with a full charge. It was the best thing ever for,just over 5 weeks. Now,sadly, it’s just useless to. Me.

My son in law loves it!! But the weather has been to nice to use it!! Loved the lightweight and was very comfortable.

I sent this back as per guidelines and never saw a refund. I sent this back with the pliers I asked to get a refund for both. This vest didn't work or heat up.

Really don't feel any warmth when wearing this. Was really expecting it to be warmer
