King's Camo: a Family of Camouflage Patterns King's was first established back in 1995 with a graphic design foundation and created a quality publishing company with cataloging, magazine and the award winning King’s Calendars. In 2000 there was a great buzz about new camouflage patterns coming into the industry and the improvement in technology for camouflage patterns. King's set the stage to release their revolutionary King's Shadow Camo Patterns and in 2002 King’s Desert Shadow Camo launched after two years of development and testing. Built upon the notion of lighter terrain, coloration and depth yet to be seen in the industry, Desert Shadow instantly grabbed the attention of hunters and the need for a lighter terrain pattern. Now encompassing a whole family of camouflage patterns, including a popular Pink Shadow, and a King’s Brand that has continued to gain recognition and respect in the industry, King’s Camo has refocused on manufacturing quality products that equal the patterns they carry. The steady interest in the patterns has also increased the official license partners that use King’s Camo on their own products.
Hunter Series PantsOur Traditional and most popular camo hunting pant just got better. The updated Hunter Sieries Pant includes a medium (increased weight) poly twill material and improved cut and sizing. These 100% polyester quick dry pants are as easy to wear as cotton. Quarter top front pockets, button close flaps on the rear patch pockets and side cargo pockets.

The material, pattern, and feel of these pants is good. I like the King’s camo pattern as well. The problem for me is the fit. I ordered the 36 Regular and they were much longer than I needed and the waist a bit snug compared to any other pants in my closet of the same size. If I pulled the paint waist up a bit I can get them comfortable with a belt but then they get a bit binding in the crotch as well as at the knee. I’d like to try the next level up in Kings line (the XKG, I think) to see if they fit and perform better. Just finished archery elk hunting and hiking in Northern Idaho and the Kings Hunter pant failed the field test.
I bought these based off of other reviews I read, and I am not disappointed. I spent the weekend up elk hunting in the mountains and they were wonderful, lightweight but very warm, quiet and water proof. I only wore my thermals under them and stayed perfectly warm. Temps were around 20-30 degrees Fahrenheit.
I love these pants but I sure wish they came in an even SMALLER SIZE! I'm 5'5" 128 very slender pounds. I was hopeful that the smallest available size of King's Camo Hunter Series pants would fit me but I'm disappointed again. I'll alter these gorgeous pants myself though. Not worth the trouble of returning them because, honestly, they are otherwise a quality product. I guess I'll just have to start ordering kids and teen sizes!!
I ordered medium, and got a 32X36, which fits me well, but it's a bit too long so I have to tailor it for a perfect fit. Material is one of the best I have seen and appears that it will be somewhat silent stalking game.
Great camo pattern for brush and open country. This pant has had only one hard season and is beginning to wear down. I don’t expect them to make it more than one solid season. However, they were pushed pretty hard in thick brush and ground hunting. If you are looking for an all around pant for ground blindes or tree stand hunting they will probably do great. Fabric is light and quite.
The pants fit well and initially were well suited for their purpose. However, after being worn 5 times, one of the cargo pockets already has a rip. This will likely only get worse, and possibly start in other areas. I'm not sure if this is a one-off situation, or if it is consistent amongst all pants produced. I would have certainly given the product 5 stars if not for this one complaint.
I have used these in Montana for antelope archery hunts and they are great - lightweight and loose-fitting keep one as comfortable as can be while in 80 degree heat stalking speed goats.
I bought theses pants for predator calling. I liked the material, pattern and shade a lot. But I never could find the right fit for me (and I sent back and re ordered a couple sizes). I ended up going for another new pair of classic cotton desert shadows.
