Years ago, when I worked at REI, I used to sell these boxers by the truckload. And I personally wore them exclusively. The Give-N-Go boxer was THE very best underwear for travelers, hikers or anyone else looking for a comfortable, durable and quick-dry pair of undies! When I took on the role of a traveling photojournalist, they remained my go-to boxers. I once did a 7-month stint covering 9 countries in Asia with only 3 pairs of these and they were fantastic.

Flash-forward to today and I can honestly say that the new versions (purchased this year) can no longer handle the rigors of travel. After just a short assignment in Vietnam, these boxers came home with a mildew stink that just wouldn't wash out. I tried multiple cleaners recommended by Exofficio's customer service team as well as vinegar and the smell is still holding strong. These boxers are supposed to resist odors; unfortunately, they do not.

It's bad enough that this expensive underwear is no longer travel-worthy, but I sent them into Exofficio for a warranty return over 3 months ago and they have yet to honor this warranty. In fact, they won't even return my emails when checking on the status.

I have since switched to another brand and I recommend you do as well. Spend your money with a different brand.

Okay, so these have always been my favorite. Comfortable, lightweight, breathes well, dries quick... And they seemed like they would last a lifetime! These were the ones I ordered in 2013. I placed an order for about 6 more in 2019 and they are significantly lighter, and the band is much much flimsier. You can tell the new ones will not last. If this underwear wasn't so expensive I'd give it more stars. But honestly for the price, I am concerned the are going to fall apart before I feel I got my money's worth. Only had them 10 months and the bands are twisting, scrunching-up, and fraying just a touch at a few spots. Hey, ExOfficio, stop being so cheap!!!

I bought these almost exclusively to wear around the house/sleep in, just because I usually wear boxer briefs.

I ordered three pairs (one 2-pack, one single) and all were "Sold by Amazon", so they shouldn't be knock-offs.

The hem / stitching on the thigh area has already pulled on two of them, and I hadn't even worn one of the pairs yet, it didn't happen until the FIRST wash, in a HE washer on Normal setting (and with other under garments) with no agitator or anything that could possibly beat up clothes.

These are just super fragile and I definitely won't be buying another pair. It's a shame too, because they're rather comfortable.

I purchased 5 in 2014 and they lasted me until about the end of 2016. Then purchased 6 because they were incredible! They lasted me until about Sept of 2019 then I purchased 7 new pairs. The material is a lot thinner than it was before! I noticed threads coming undone right out of the package. For the price I pay there is no excuse for the cheaper material and shotty sewing. It really stinks because I have became a custom to these and they were comfy.

Ordered several pairs of these and was sent a different size from what I ordered, opted to return and reorder only to be sent the same wrong size again. Not sure what's going wrong on their end, but having to go print out labels and return so many products is very annoying in the middle of a pandemic, the lack of customer support certainly isn't reassuring either. I can't even reorder the correct size anymore because they've removed that option from the listing now, my best guess is they ran out of stock on my size and automatically sent me a different size instead? Very unusual.

If you manage to get a pair in your size they can be pretty decent, they're as comfortable as you'd expect when they fit, with nice breathability and a smooth texture. The only real downside is they aren't quite as durable as you may hope for, hence why I was looking to buy more. I would definitely not machine wash these if you care about keeping them in good condition or for longer periods of time. Hand-washing and air-drying is definitely the way to go with these.

Overall nice boxers, but if they interest you I would have to recommend getting them from a different source if you want it to be hassle-free.

I have several of the ExOfficio Give-n-go Boxers that I've purchased in the single packs, and they are my favorite underwear. I saw this two pack at a better price so jumped on it, but it's a huge disappointment. These are not the same boxers. Not only does the material feel slightly thinner and cheaper, but the biggest issue is the waistband almost immediately curled up and never flattens out. It's extremely annoying and uncomfortable. I would stay far away from purchasing these.

I've been a fan for several years of the ExOfficio line. Years ago, I bought a set for traveling abroad. They're fantastically breathable when you're active, keeping you nice and dry. After a day of traveling overseas, I simply wash them in the sink and hang to dry overnight. This made for a much lighter pack!

Over the years, you'll find the elastic waistband will degrade, so be careful about twist-wringing them out. Roll the boxers in a towel to force out moisture, then hang. I have a pair from my very, first order that I've handled this way, and they still fit perfectly.

I have other 'models' of ex-officio underwear that I really like. It was unclear to me that these were going to be very loose and baggy. I don't like them at all...too loose. If this is what you want, these will be great but if you are looking for a snug fit anywhere besides the waistband, this 'model' is not what you want.

Purchased several pairs leading up to a month long European getaway in the summer. These were lifesavers, super comfortable to wear, particularly when it was 30+ degrees. You can also wash them in the sink or bathtub and they were completely dry usually in less than 24 hours, which was great for quick turnarounds and needing to constantly pack and unpack.

Very thin, cool material. Easy to wash. Consider going down a size.

A tad roomier than I expected but incredibly comfy

Buy it these are the best boxers out there.

Product exactly as advertised and expected
