Question: What temperature water should it be washed in?

Answer: I wash all of my sun shirts in warm water. I don't think it matters; the fabric won't shrink.

Question: Will the sun protection wash out of the shirt?

Answer: UPF is normally achieved by how tight the weave of the fabric is, it shouldn't diminish out unless there is excessive wear and tear

Answer: I don't believe that it will. I have washed it several times and bought more. I really like them.

I ordered a 3X (but I wear a 2X in general). The upper body fit fine but the midriff/waist area was too snug in a clingy type fabric. I tend to carry more weight in the middle (an "apple", not a "pear") so might fit others fine. Note 3x size chart dimensions are more silmilar to 2x in many styles.

Love everything about this top except the hood is bigger than the norm so it flops around when you move in any manner. Definitely not an exercise top but a before and after coverup. The fabric is really nice and the fit is perfect and it hangs nicely.

Fits perfect, nice color. It’s works well during winter, however, it's not breathable and too hot to wear for Florida fishing during summer.

Item is a scratchy material and much shorter than pictured. Its length is that of a normal shirt- not even a tunic. Runs a little small.

Perfect coverup! Great for unrelenting sun while sailing.

Tops are excellent so far, will wash and review. Dont recommend placing in dryer. Definitely hang dry.
