I already owned the full length Stabilyx tights, which I like a lot, when I bought these. Prior to purchasing the Revolution tights, I read a lot of reviews. I wanted something lighter than the Stabilyx, to wear in warmer weather. These are thinner and therefore not as hot on a long run. I was somewhat disappointed, however, with the level of support. Since these are supposed to provide more muscular support than Stabilyx, which are more skeletal, I expected my hamstrings and quads to feel a lot better than they did on a couple of long runs (8-10 miles). They also don't have the same level of support for the hips and low back. I guess thinner material comes with sacrifices. As others have stated, you do need to be careful of what you wear under them because there is a sheerness to the fabric in the rear. Not a big deal, but be warned. I am 5'7, with an athletic build. I fall in the gray region on the sizing charts and wear a Small in CW-X tights. They are tight the way compression tights should be but not uncomfortable at all. Even though this style does not provide as much support as I hoped it would based on other reviews, these tights are still better than wearing a non-compression tight. I am keeping them to wear for shorter mild weather runs, but for the price, I would not buy them again.
Like lots of folks have mentioned, the waistband on these tights are much smaller than other CW-X tights. The legs fit fine, but the waist is borderline uncomfortable.
I purchased these compression 3/4 length tights to aid in compression, reduce inflammation and allow myself to train SMARTER.
I'd rate these five stars if they ran true to size and I could actually wear them. I tried them on and they were way too tight. According to the chart, my size is M, but the L was too tight. For the few minutes I had them on, my legs felt good, but my knees and waist were suffering. PLEASE make/carry these in X-large so more people can benefit!
These tights are great! They fit as expected. They're compression tights after all. I am a size 10 and went with the medium. These are great for longer runs on warmer days, and they are lightweight but still provide great compression. I really need compression support for my hip and IT band issues, so these were a good choice for a full marathon in 80 degrees. The only problem is that because they are so light, they are definitely a bit see-through. Not a deal breaker for me though.
I love running in cwx tights so I thought I would give these a try. I hate them! They are sheer, run small and do not offer the same knee support as most of the other cwx tights. These were a complete waste of money.
Great tights for working out, skiing, biking, running, paddle boarding. If you are muscular in the bottom half, I would go up a size. I really like the adjustable tie at the waist and wish more brands would do this. I purchased not so much for tight compression as for a little support and give. Well made and really take a beating.
I like these tights. My legs stay fresh for longer and recover faster. I use then for running and for volleyball. They give great support without becoming too hot. They have held up through regular mashine washings. I hang to dry and they're good as new. I am 5'2" and 98 pounds. The extra small fits great.
Great running pants, my muscles and joints feel a lot better during and after running. The fit is according to the size chart. It is a little difficult to put them on, but really worth it.
