Castelli designed the Nanoflex Pro Bibtight after the Castelli pro team riders demanded even more protection so they could train and race through anything. The extreme-duty Nano Flex Bib Tights provide maximum rain protection in chilly weather. Castelli designers placed an extra layer over the thighs, knees and back end to increase protection against cold wind and rainy weather. The lower inner leg is completely waterproof since this is the area that usually gets soaked. The Progetto X2 Air is Castelli
Another great product from castelli. I used it in a windy 40-50F/5-10C day, which is exactly the range of temperature it is designed for, and it was perfect: not too warm, not too hot. My feet were starting to get cold (I did not have shoe covers) but my legs and lap and butt were very comfy, the windproof material works very weel. I like the anti splash reflective front legs, even though I did not test them in water.
These are ridiculously small. I normally wear a medium, sometimes a large in shorts/tights (5'11 172 pounds). I read these ran small so ordered the large to be safe. I could not even come close to zipping the legs and could not get the tights over my hips. I then ordered the XL. With those I could still not zip the last 3 inches, and while I could get them on they were tighter than comfortable. Seemed well built and would be good winter tights, but unless you normally wear a small or medium I doubt they will fit you. Go up at LEAST two sizes.
I bought these for long-distance bicycling events in the winter and it does the job. I've worn it down to about 35 degrees which of course is too cold to be out on a bike all day long but I'm not writing this review for sensible people - I'm writing it for people who love to ride their bikes regardless of the weather.
This fits tight and somewhat small as most Castelli gear. I went up-size to a Large. I wore them 3 time during winter season I was warm and comfortable. I paid a good price and I am happy with them..
6', 160 lbs, 30" measured inseam and Large fits perfectly.
