I am nurse practitioner, working full time in cardiology. I have been wearing Maia bras to work for over a decade as they are supportive and comfortable. This is not the same bra I have been using for 12 years!!!!!!! Brooks has changed the design. The side support is no longer there like it was previously --- so my breasts are rubbing on my inner arms. I tried a larger size several months ago, thinking this was the problem, but my breast size was unchanged and that was not the problem. It was the lack of structural integrity. Also, one of the two larger sized bras I ordered earlier, developed an underwire perforation within one month. I sewed the area, but it came through the material again within 2 weeks. How the bra is sewn in thus also changed. I would like the Brooks R&D dept to go back to making the quality bras we all knew and loved. I am looking for a different bra now, and I so loved the real Maia.

This is such a shame. Maia has been my go-to bra for years. I wear one every single day. The image in the listing is of the Moving Comfort version with the Moving Comfort logo, but now that Brooks has purchased MC what I received has the Brooks logo and it is a very different bra. The fit is completely different and not in a good way: smaller and tighter, so that even though the identical size to my earlier Maia bras I spill out the sides. The band is so tight it hurts to wear the bra.

What Brooks has managed to do is take a stellar bra and ruin it. I'd read some of the other negative reviews and though "how bad could it be?" The answer is...really bad. I'll now have to start the annoying search for another bra brand and style.

Since 2009, I've purchased several Maia bras from Amazon and from Moving Comfort's web site, since they were my all-time favorite for fit, support, and style. After Brooks acquired the brand, I figured they wouldn't make any substantial changes to the design (why fix what isn't broken?). Unfortunately, the new ones fit poorly, are uncomfortable to wear for long, and require mending every time the underwire tears through the fabric near the armpits. I'm currently shopping for other brands.

I loved my moving comfort bras but am not 100% pleased with the Brooks redo of this bra. My moving fitness bras lasted me 4 years of frequent wear as first responder before any material breakdown. This bra has only lasted me 6 weeks- the underwire broke through the material yesterday. I’m very disappointed because it’s a great bra otherwise for my line of work and outside of work. It spent $60+ on this bra and now I’m going to have to spend just as much to buy a new one.

I purchased one before it was under the Brooks umbrella and the fit isn't the same. The previous fit was perfect and everything stayed in place, no gaps! With this one, at first I thought I just needed a different size, so returned and reordered a smaller one... same issues in a smaller size. Lots of gaps on the sides of the cups, back rides up, the top layer doesn't offer enough compression. I'll use it while I explore new options, but wouldn't buy this again unless they go back to the previous fit.

This bra is chock full of awesome. I tried one on by chance at a local sporting goods store, bought two, and love them. I got another on Amazon at a substantial discount. While I wouldn't say that this bra eliminates absolutely all movement, it does a pretty great job of keeping everything where it should be for moderate to high impact sports . I'm quite used to having to get uniboob, Joan of Arc-armor style sports bras, but this one actually looks great under clothes as an everyday t-shirt bra. As far as working out, again there's the no-smashing aspect but I also love the high neckline so there isn't any cleavage happening here either. I know the lack of cleavage is going to be a downside to some but the fewer leers I can get at the gym the better. It looks great from all angles too (no bizarre "back fat" sculptures). To me it's a nearly perfect combo of support/shaping, movement control, coverage, and comfort all wrapped up into one package.

I've noticed that this bra gets mixed reviews on many sites, but I love it. The Maia meets all my criteria:

    1. It provides comfortable support with no bounce. (I'm a 34DDD, so this matters.)
    2. It has adjustable straps, which helps with fit if you're short (I am) or tall.
    3. The underwires and cup construction prevent the "uniboob" look of so many sports bras.
    4. It's cut higher in front--no cleavage. Even though I always wear a shirt over the bra, if I'm lying on my back on the bench doing dumbbell work and my trainer's standing at my head to spot me, a lower-cut bra is going to show cleavage. I work with a male trainer, and he neither needs nor wants to know that much about me!
    5. It has wider, padded straps.

I really wanted the beautifully pink sports bras but they were a little too big and couldn’t hold my girls tight for my workouts. I wanted to return them and ran into a problem. I found out that they were from Great Britain and to return them was over one hundred dollars. I contacted them and informed them of my issues and they were awesome to refund my account and are willing to work with me to find the correct size. I’m so grateful for the support and help at resolving the issue.

One of the best sports bra i own. I loved it. I paid 18 Cad. Best comfort and for. The wires dissect bother at all. Gives nice support and the broad straps are perfect to cushion ur shoulders.. i am in love with this bra. Though it took really a very long time to deliver.

I ordered two identical ones and received two different models. One of them with underwire which I don’t appreciate for a sports bra

    Awesome fits awesome

Item was as advertised. Pleased with item

This is the best bra i have ever had, tried, bought. It holds perfectly. I am 75 E and i tried so many other products, none of them as good as Moing Comfort Maia ! Wonderful product !!!

My go to running bra. Fits just like all the others I have bought at stores.

I want to change a smaller one, or just return it. This one is too big for me. Thank you
