The weather has been turning mid fall, and it's been getting fairly cold in and outside (50° F) the house. This vest has heating elements around the abdomen and back. It takes a while to warm up but insulates well. I feel the most heat from the back. Wearing just the vest is definitely fine inside the house, but it's best paired with a jacket outside as it insulates everything to your body. There are no pockets other than the single one for the battery, the manual reccomends 2 mAh output where most modern external battery should work but the small generic ones probably would not. There are zippers on the side that expand the vest and buttons on the shoulders that lowers the vest. Pictured is the vest at it's smallest size, otherwise if you're shorter, you may find the warming elements lower than expected. I love it though, easy to use (holding the button to turn on/off), will definitely make use of it come winter.

Vest has many adjustments from the top shoulder to the sides, literally one size fits all. However I tend to like the close to body snug fit as it allows you to feel the heat more directly and I believe having extra pockets just makes the jacket bulkier. Just one pocket in the front for the battery and that's it. Feels nicely made, not cheaply made at all. I tried it with a jacket over the vest and it's nice and toasty even at the lowest level, blue. Very minimal bulk because I'm wearing it at the smallest fitting option. Looking forward for more opportunities to try this outdoor but because of the strict pandemic guidelines here in California it's a bit harder to go out at night.

I already had tons of the battery packs laying around and it works great. Has tons of ways to adjust it. Keep in mind that one size fits all it not always one size. I wear about an xl and that about as big as it goes. My husband is a 3x and it's definitely not fitting him. Other than it running small it works good
