Let me start by saying this puffer jacket is worth your consideration. I've purchased amazon essential items before, with great satisfaction, and figured why not try this jacket and see if I get the same result.

The jacket has been a pleasure to use and I would buy it again. The outer layer is nylon with a matte finish, which is always my preferred outer shell. The inner stuff is polyester, according to the description online, which appears to be the case.

There are two pockets on the outside, which are closed with zippers, with a hood attached that cannot be removed. I dont think this would be considered a heavyweight coat, more like a mid weight, as it is not thin but not extremely thick. However, this coat keeps you warm easily in cold weather. I have worn it outside in temperatures as low as 32°F and didn't once feel a breeze.

Overall I am satisfied and would recommend to other potential buyers.

It’s warm but not heavy. It’s only been down to about 15 degrees here, and jacket was nice and warm. I don’t know how warm it will be when it gets to 20 or 30 below, but I think with a layer underneath it will be ok. Size fits perfectly.

This jacket describes it has thumbholes and it DOES NOT. The quality seems pretty good. Seems very warm and is thick. Has one inside velcro pocket and 2 side zippered pockets. Each lined with the fuzzy lining.

I’ve bought this coat twice and both times the zipper broke within a week of use. I’m outside of the return window on the first one but am returning the second one. It fits well and is warm but if it doesn’t zip it doesn’t work.

I bought this for my son. It seems like a good basic coat. It fits him well. I bought him a medium (he weighs about 145 pounds and is stocky around the middle). The only criticism I have is that the description said there was a thumb hole in the cuff and there was not. This makes me wonder how well Amazon really knows its products and manufacturers.

Good jacket, it is really warm as the other reviews said. I wish there were more inside pockets as my other one that I bought from Costco years ago for 20 bucks has a breast pocket on both the right and left.

This one only has one on the left side, and I don’t like keeping my phone on the same side as my heart, never know with radiation these days. I usually keep my wallet on the left side and phone on the right.

My other jacket has three inside pockets. Feature request...

only gripe is no draw string on hoodie and better IF these are double (2way) front zip
