My son is 12 and is 5'1" and 128lbs. I bought him a size xl, which according to the size chart, is a size 18-20 and fits kids 13-14 years old. My son normally wears a L to XL in youth tops. This shirt for him tight, which is how it's supposed to fit, however, it seemed kind of short in the torso. If your child is on the short side like mine, it'll reach top of hips. Because of the tightness of the shirt, he had a hard time getting it on and off, but that's to be expected. I bought this for his Halloween costume (he was Drift from Fortnite). This shirt fit my son's arms and torso just like Drift's shirt fits, really tight. It was only 25 degrees and it was half showing half raining that night here in northeast Indiana, so we needed something to keep my son warm but not ruin the costume. This shirt did just that. The only thing that for cold were his fingers due to his fingerless gloves. His chest and arms stayed toasty! I was worried too at first because he has asthma that didn't show up until he got a bad cough last year. I had his winter coat in tow just in case, but he didn't even need it! He only needed his other gloves!

All in all, this is a great shirt that all kids that live where it gets cold in the fall and winter should have to keep their chests warm and keep chest colds away!!

It’s very frustrating for those of us who are looking for true compression wear to see that word in so many clothing descriptions (and to read reviews that say “too tight”).

Yes, this top is tight, but it doesn’t have the stretch/tightness of true compression clothing.

It’s a great price, so I’m not returning it.

Update, after I've worn this all day (and the review hadn't posted): Though this isn't what I wanted, as if doesn't provide the support of a true compression garment, this is a VERY warm top, and if that's what you are looking for, get it. It's a bargain.

Just so you know, I am a woman, 5'1", weight 100 pounds and I'm flat chested. I can't find women's compression or sports clothes that are small enough for me (generally) so I buy boy's sizes.

I sure wish this came in a turtleneck for the New England winters!

Product fits great. When opening I didn’t think it would fit my son. These have such a stretch to them. Very well made. My son loves how soft they are. They keep him very warm for baseball. Will be buying more from the specific brand. The bundle price is great and super affordable. I would highly recommend for any kid in general. These are perfect for sports or wintertime sledding, and playing in snow, sleeping or even for sensory difficulty for comfort. When this came I thought I order the wrong size for my son it looked small but it does have a great stretch to it and hugs the skin but is velvety soft on the inside!

It did not come as pictured....pictured shows red stitching and an interesting fire ball design at the waist. NEITHER is on the shirt(s). My 10 year old grandson liked them but they are NOT what I thought and I was disappointed. Had them shipped direct to my daughter to wrap up for him so I didn't get to see them until she let me know about them. Shipping was prompt and received more quickly than the estimated delivery but I was still disappointed.

Awesome product. My kid is enjoying it. It's fleece, so very good alternative for winter. My kid wore it one day but it was little hot, so he didn't wear it for long. But during winter, he is going to wear it for his indoor soccer. Fabric is excellent too. At this price, it is steal. I am very happy with my purchase.

Although it says "boy" in the product, I actually bought both shirt and pants of this brand for my daughter. She loves it. It keeps her warm while she plays soccer outdoor in winter. We bought 32degree thermals from Costco before, but these are way better in terms of thickness and keeping her warm.

Bought the shirt for my 10 year old son for soccer. He normally wears a large but after reading the reviews I ordered a xlarge. Luckily I ordered that size because the large would of been really tight.

Thought I was getting a shirt with a fire design but it’s was solid black. Fits great and great value would order more!!
