I have purchased UA boot socks several times. My recent purchase one pair lasted 1 washing then heel was shredded.
His favorite pair of socks. They are great for a work boot. They are tall enough to keep the top of the boot from rubbing on his leg. They cushion the foot enough too, for long hard work days constantly on his feet. He won't wear anything else. Wish I could get them in a dark color too.
Hands-down, my favorite socks ever. These things keep your feet warm, dry, and comfortable. There's no itch like a traditional wool garment. Plus, they're durable and machine washable. Wear them with tac boots in the winter and you'll love them.
Believe it or not, worth every penny. Purposely wore thin mesh styled sneakers with em in 35° weather to test out how well they worked. No cold toes what so ever. Feet will sweat in room temperature. Found my outdoor winter socks!
I purchased 2 pairs of UA Cold Gear Crews for a Christmas gift for my husband. He has a lot of different brands of Winter socks, working outdoors for Conservation. I think he loves them because they are the only socks in the laundry basket. I have purchased Smart Wool and Trekker socks, which he likes, but these are by far my best purchase and less expensive. I recently ordered another 2 pairs. I wash them with towels and NO FABRIC SOFTENER. I read on the Cold Gear UA Mock Compression T-Shirt instructions to not use fabric softener so I figured I shouldn't use it with any UA items. I also DO NOT put them in the dryer. Geeze they are usually dry by the time I take out the towels, roughly 45 minutes. I have never dried an UA garment or socks regardless of Heat Gear or Cold.
I have to wear safety shoes at work so sock comfort is a must. These are very comfortable, but also quite thick. While this is not a complaint, they are so thick and warm that I will only wear them in the wintertime. Great socks, though!
These are amazing! Keep your feet warm and dry. I walk around a lot during the day in between cold outdoor weather and a warm office. Best part: they stay in a boot all day and don't get soggy.
I bought these in November, and it's now April. Wore them through the high desert winter in my boots, and much impressed. They're high enough to lock onto my thermal leggings, and thick enough/warm enough to not need polypro liners. Washed them numerous times (cold only and hang on line to dry) and they've not shrunk. Bought similar boot sox from REI and they shrank so much my dog can wear them comfortably!
Wore these with my boots on a -10 degree day plus windchill and I was warm and toasty. Always have loved all of UA’s gear for cold weather. These are no exception.
I don't like the feel of these socks. Although darn tough are more expensive, they are worth it.
Took me a long time to find a good pair of underwear cold gear socks. They are comfortable and warm
Fairly warm. Comfortable. I use a liner sock underneath for working outside daily. Any thing above -5 and you should be warm.
Our son-in-law is a farmer and he really liked how warm the socks kept his feet while out in the barn. Did not disappoint.
