TriggerPoint CORE Foam Rollers offer a solid-core design and durable EVA foam construction to withstand years of repeated use. Unlike standard polypropylene foam rollers that are rock hard when new and can quickly break down and become soft, the CORE is made from EVA foam that has greater resilience after compression. The CORE’s consistency provides moderate pressure and delivers a premium massage with minimal discomfort. Its Grid pattern technology makes it the only solid foam roller on the market to channel blood and oxygen while you roll. The multi-density surface is designed to massage tight muscles, knots, and kinks to reduce soreness, improve flexibility, and increase recovery. The 36-inch TriggerPoint CORE supports the entire spine during yoga, Pilates, and recovery exercises and provides stability to roll large muscle areas, while the 18-inch CORE’s versatile size can be easily repositioned during exercise to support a variety of massages and routines. The CORE is part of a complete family of TriggerPoint foam rollers, including the TriggerPoint GRID and GRID X, which offer even more durability and firmer self-massage. The purchase of any TriggerPoint foam roller includes free access to an online instructional video library from the experts at TriggerPoint that illustrate the best foam roller techniques. The TriggerPoint CORE supports a 325 pound weight limit. 1-year warranty.

I LOVE this roller. I have been using it for about 2 months and it still looks new. It is great to roll on but also good to lay on the length of it and stretch and work on shoulder range of motion and tension. I don't want to live without it again. A shorter one would not be as useful to me at all. I also like the pressure that this roller applies - less "hard" than many other rollers. This gives just enough not to be painful when rolling sore muscles!

I love the consistency of this roller. It is the first one I have purchased so I wanted something not too hard or soft. It's a perfect in between that forms to the body in just the right way. All of the texture on the roller feels great and works into tight muscles. I have lower back and hip issues and I use this after dancing or at the end of a long day and it releases a lot of the tension that builds up. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a beginners roller that will still get leave you feeling unwound and relaxed.

I only received this foam roller one week ago, so I cannot offer an evaluation of its sturdiness and durability over time. In addition, I have very limited experience with foam rollers, so I do not suggest that my opinion is informed by expertise. I ordered this foam roller after ordering one from a different manufacturer that turned out to be a solid pillar of hard Styrofoam that was so firm and unyielding that it was too uncomfortable to use; I sent that one back within less than 24 hours. This one seems well-designed and of good quality, and is certainly far more comfortable to use: I can lay down with all of my weight on it under my back or thighs, and it has just enough "give" to remain firm but not painful. So far, I'm very pleased with it, and it got a thumbs-up from the personal trainer who supervises my wife and me when we work out. I docked one star only because I don't have a sufficient wealth of knowledge to make the bold statement that it deserves 5 stars in comparison with all foam rollers. It's holding up well so far.

Overall, this does what you need it to do. I mean there's not much I can write about a foam roller that most people don't already know. However, the reason I am writing this is for one specific reason. It leaves a weird slippery film on my floor. I have standard city apartment flooring (see picture) and after using this once, I almost slipped and fell. I tried scrubbing it and I honestly have no idea what it is. I learned my lesson and now I use it on top of my yoga mat. This is just a warning, so when you purchase this, just be aware.

Best roller I have had. I have used regular foam rollers and a rumble roller. This one has just enough give to make you want to keep using it but enough bite to feel it work.

I recently returned to running, but was slacking on both yoga and doing warm-ups and stretching for the runs. Needless to say, after a month my muscles were incredibly tight and hindering my running form. I had never foam rolled before using this and have to say, using it was excruciating - I was sweating and cursing and had to force myself to continue. Once I was done, however, it was like i had done a month of restorative yoga - my muscles were all so loose they almost felt disconnected from my body. Give it a shot.

This is my first foam roller so I'm reviewing this as someone who has never used a foam roller before.
As far as I'm concerned the quality is excellent, feels very sturdy and I imagine it will last a number of years.
Some reviews mention this roller being too soft, the best way I can describe the firmness is it feels firn but has just enough give as to not feel like you're rolling on a hard piece of plastic.
It's not soft and pillowy, but firm with a bit of give.
I'm a little under 160lbs and I never felt as if the roller was collapsing under my weight.
One review mentioned it sliding under them which did happen to me but it's a piece of foam on a hardwood floor, I'm not surprised that it slides a bit.
If you roll on something with a bit of grip you shouldn't have this issue, and most of the time it stays pretty firmly in place.
The foam nubs that simulate a palm or fingers sounds gimmicky but honestly I did notice a difference when rolling on a smooth portion vs a pointed portion of the roller.
Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and if you're on the fence about getting this foam roller I'd say do it.

This is the best roller! It's the exact same one I use at Pilates and now I get to use it everyday at home! I carry a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders. This helps me get an adjustment and releases tension! It's the perfect balance of firmness and give. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants better back health!

I’ve got the regular trigger point foam roller and the long one. Bought this because I wanted to have a foam roller with that’s the length of the small one and long one. The length of this is perfect for me. Slightly soft but still great. I prefer this more even though I’ve been foam rolling on harder foam rollers.

Great softer roller for the larger tender muscle groups like the quads etc. Delvered on time *****

I originally purchased a firm trigger point foam roller, but it was far too painful to use. I've had major issues with my knees, hips, back and feet that are idiopathic. I've only been using this for a few weeks, but have seen some improvement.
I will update this review after I've used the roller for a while in case there are others out there with a similar heath issue.
