Great for adults, kids and dogs.
We bought 2 of these for our toddler boys who enjoy being on the move all the time. Meals can be especially challenging! Unfortunately, they really haven't helped much with keeping them in their seats. They do give them a nice boost up so they can eat in a regular chair for the 2 minutes they stay there though! Lol They also enjoy standing and sitting on them on the floor, which is great for improving overall stability. They have held up to adults standing on them too (they are kinda fun!). Our PT friend says these are as well made as other brands they use at work and cost a lot less. She also guided us in the right amount of air to put in them. She said they should be a flat shape that allows them to wiggle. We had overinflated them to more of a semicircular shape that made balance more challenging. Letting air out was easy by reinserting the needle and pressing on the cushion. I am happy with the quality and price, so it is a 5 star product for that, and we will keep them for play and exercise.
This stability disc works well to practice my balance. I have issues losing my balance and use this to practice everyday. I do it on two feet, two feet eyes closed, two feet turning my head side to side, etc. and all the same exercises on one foot, too. It works great, is easy to inflate, and I like the purple color.
I bought this as a cushion for my work chair since I previously used a yoga ball and loved it. This is nice for about an hour but then it just hurts! The nubbies on both sides are too intense and it’s too hard for long term sitting. Seems very well made though. Disappointed it doesn’t work for me.
Good for insanely boring conference calls. Don’t know if it will ever live up to “core strengthening”, but it definitely helps keep the wiggling in my chair to a minimum. A caveat: this is not for people with sensitive bums!! It has little nubbies on one side and ridiculous bumps on the other. The nubbies are doable for a while....but, I read reviews people left about finding this thing comfortable and seriously wonder if they are missing nerve endings in their hind quarters.
I use this for stability exercises. I'll do one-legged glut-raises with it and also stand on one leg while working at my standing desk. It was very inexpensive too boot! My chiropractor recommended I get one of these and I'm glad I did.
I think the product will work as intended, and the material appears sturdy. I had to hunt for the needle, which turns out to be attached to the air pump, which was not obvious at first glance (and not identified as such in the instructions). The top part of the pump came off in my hand, so I had to hold the lid part onto the body while I pumped. Clearly not well designed to latch and hold. I may have overinflated, so I will need to let a bit of air out, but I will come back and update this review as time goes on.
I bought this item as a gift for an older relative who uses it as a seat cushion, and she's been using it religiously ever since. I tested it out myself and was really pleased too. I had an instant improvement in my posture, and it's a fun challenge trying to stay balanced on it. It also felt sturdy and well-made. The item comes pre-inflated, which is good because I tried playing around with the (very cheap) air pump and couldn't really tell if it was working. Inflating a completely flat cushion seems like it'd be pretty annoying, but luckily we haven't gotten to that point yet.
