My Wife bought me these for my birthday in yellow.
These shoes are great! First of all, they fit as expected, which is always nice when ordering from Amazon. They also give you a good amount of heel lift, which is important for lifting shoes (it's the whole point!). The sole is quite stiff, and doesn't allow for much give, which maximizes your power transfer. The color combination looks good, in my opinion. If you're buying these for crossfit, I would say that running in these shoes isn't going to be the most comfortable, but it can be done. I haven't tried any other crossfit shoes before, so I can't say if another shoe would perform better for that. However, for lifting, it has really increased the amount of weight I can comfortably squat.
Just got these shoes and used them for my squat workout. These are my first pair of heeled workout shoes so nothing to compare them to other than running shoes and chuck taylors. That said I really like these.
A hint on sizing: If you tend to like your shoes to run a bit tight at a specific size, you'll want to order these a half-size larger. If you tend to wear your shoes with the "thumb width" between the tip of your big toe and the end of the shoe, then the size you typically buy will probably work - but be a bit tight. So, for example, if you tend to wear a 10.5 in most shoes, but you also tend to like your shoes to run a bit tighter (at 10.5), then you'll probably want to order a size 11. I originally ordered the 10.5 (as that is what I usually wear) but ended up ordering the 11's and trying them as the 10.5's were *just* a bit too tight.
It's the first time I bought this brand or a specialist lifting shoe so unfortunately can't compare them to anything similar. All I can say is, I should have been using something like this for years now. Much more stability than my regular trainers and a more comfortable heel position than barefoot. I'm lifting heavier with more confidence and they look great!
I have owned these for over 4 years now and they are still in good condition. I use these 2 per week for heavy compound and power lifts.
These are great. Not as ridged as other weightlifting shoes, but I was after something I could also do box jumps and double unders in. They are supportive, have improved my lifts and they look great. I've had these for a few years and would buy another pair again. I just wish I'd been able to get them in a half size, but I put a thin insole in and it was fixed.
Brilliant shoe. I used to wear chuck Taylor's for my lifts and felt they were adequate support and were flat. Once I started lifting in these it felt completely different. The slight elevation in the heel and solid flat sole make a tonne of difference.
When my trainer suggested that to improve my squats and workouts I got some trainers designed for the job I wasn't sure they could make all the difference. But these are amazing I can squat deeper and heavier that ever before with a better posture and improved technique as a result, I have also wiped minutes of my HIIT ladder workouts and they are a really good price and look good too.
Just to add to the other reviews, they're right - these shoes make a difference. Stability, form and added confidence combined with a great fit. I'm normally 10.5 in a shoe, 11 in trainers and for me 11.5 was perfect. Thank you
I have not tried it yet, but with the first impression is that the materials are really cool and solid platform the shoe has. Despite its features and very nice looking, where the shoe appearance is fantastic to be worn, I feel less confortable at the position of my toe, it is a little bit harder than I thought as for prorection. However, my size is 45 I do not think the shoes is really 45 because it does not fit completely on my foot. I suggest that the company has to revision the sizes to avoid such a problem. All in all, the shoe has amazing colour, modern, and stylish. But the size is really matter.
Great weight lifting trainers.
I'd highly recommend ordering from these guys. I ordered a 9 which is what my Asics and work shoes are but they were too small so swapped for a 9.5 which were also too small so ended up in a whopping 10. But the swapping was easy and quick even by post. Thanks
