This is the second pair of these shorts I have purchased. I like them because they are more form fitting and not just the baggy sacks that most running shorts are these days. The pocket in the back is great. These shorts fit great are light weight and dry very quickly. They only come in about 2 or 3 boring colors though.
My husband is 5'9, 149 lbs, and a size 31 waist. He wears a size medium in these shorts. They are mid-thigh length and have built in "undies", which he loves. He says it keeps chaffing to a minimum. They are lightweight, wick away sweat and are a nice color. He has two pair of these and wears them all the time. 2 thumbs up.
These are a great pair of shorts. Very light and very comfortable. I would like more pockets but the zipper on the one pocket is the best zipper on a pair of running shorts I've ever used. Also the waistband/drawstring could be a little better. I think Brooks and Asics have the best drawstrings out there and if Pearl Izumi would go that route these would be perfect.
Best running shorts I own!!! I love the pocket in the back, where you don't notice it at all. I generally go on long runs and carry my iPod and keys in the back zippered pocket, which I never even notice the pocket is full.
Nice shorts, a little longer than the splits I usually wear-- long enough that my teenaged son isn't embarrassed to be seen with me, but not too long to run in. Size medium is just a bit smaller than Saucony shorts I generally wear otherwise.
Nice running shorts. the zippered pocked on the back is very useful for holding car key fob, ID, cash. I tried putting my iphone 5s in there, and it will fit but it bounces too much and it annoying.
These are good quality, but made of thinner materials than Pearl Izumi used to use and skimpier. Order up a size and these are good for summer only.
These are just great running shorts. The only kind I use. The pocket in the back is perfect for keys.
