These gloves are awesome! They keep my hands nice and warm on a run without being bulky . I did not get fleece because I wanted a very smooth lined gloves. I could see where in extremely cold temperatures or very windy conditions this may not protect your hand that much but for a mild winter day it seems fine to me. It was 40 degrees outside running and my hand stayed warm.
These are my favorite lightweight gloves. I have Raynauds so my fingers get painfully cold easily, and I wear these often while working on the computer. These are great for throwing in your pocket on a day of errands or to wear inside a cold room. They are thin enough that the entire surface works with a smartphone or computer touchpad, which is nice. I have worn these running for cold runs around 25 - 35 degrees, and they are fine, though I'd want warmer gloves for walking to and from the race. Also, the material of the glove is more like a spandex - the only fleece portion is a small sweat-wipe area. Again, not the warmest gloves, but the thin profile means they are easy to carry everywhere! I have two pair, one in my bag and one at my desk.
Fit well, but does not keep hands warm, even above freezing temperatures.
Perfect for running outdoors during winter. the iphone touch pads work perfectly also.
Great gloves. Perfect for winter runs.
First, the rating is a personal review vs what I expected. The product quality is fine-they look nice and fit well, like a glove. But the only fleece on the gloves is over the thumb to apparently wipe your nose with (according to the package). These are probably great for a runner or jogger in a slightly chilled air, but for true warmth in colder temperatures look elsewhere.
They are warm up to maybe 35-40ish degrees. I have cold fingers anyway but found that I'd probably need to double up or go thicker getting under 40 this winter. They keep their shape well, are soft and stretchy. No real use with touch screens while wearing.
