I was so excited for these... but they don't work. They are really light and comfy. Didn't do a ride in them so can't say what the chamois would feel like. But the detachable hook on the back is like a bra hook - but vertical and way up high on your back. Despite my ability to do reverse namaste, I couldn't unhook this. Part of the problem is that the cloth on one end of the hook has no extra place to hold - so you can't get a hold of it. One attempt at unhooking, and the super light material ripped at the hook. There has GOT TO BE a way to make women's bib shorts that you can pee in. But this isn't it. I think Pearl Izumi is close here, but still needs a bit of engineering. It would be easier if the hook was higher or lower up on the back - I'm guessing they put it where it is to avoid rubbing, but you can't reach it. Sad to return them - I thought they might be the ultimate solution.

Ok, comfortable although I have an older version and its even better. The mechanism its not the best, its not easy to put back again.

Fit is way different from other Pearl Izumi shorts. Returned because the straps were crazy uncomfortable.
