Wanted to see if these were any good. I personnally don't care for them. Skuff easily, trajectory no different than the AVX, and a "funny" feel putting. I'm sticking with my Pro V1s.
Noticed a big difference when landing on a green.
Plays like the AVX
They are durable and travel far
I’m a huge fan of the AVX, and this is supposedly its replacement. My only complaint on the AVX was the lack of iron and wedge spin. This ball is as long and has less spin off the driver than the AVX and a ton more iron spin I could actually work the ball and stop it and spin it back. But with great iron spin they had to make the cover super soft. So the downside is that a ball only last about three to four holes before the cover gets cut up. That’s the only complaint I have. It has a mid launch and I can’t say it’s longer I saw the same yardages from irons and woods with it as the AVX
Played the ball last weekend. I found ball had a nice mid trajectory launch, a little longer than the Pro V1x, nice feel around the green. Also putted well. Only issue it has a firmer feel than Pro V1 and Pro V1x. Did not-have the nice klick Pro V1x has. Also the cover got a little scuffed up after hitting a couple of wedge shots, but held up ok.
Probably the longest ball I have ever hit off the tee. Good feel around the green and putted well. Only draw back was the outer cover would blemish and scuff after a handful of holes but had a lot of fun playing it.
