Wow! First look at this baby in the store is kinda like looking at that super hot chick that you know is out of your league. Sexy as hell, but super intimidating.
So, I figured why not - I hit it in the store off the mat and it was very forgiving and easy to hit, and hit high. So I ordered one. I've had it for about a month now. While I have to admit it's not for the squeamish or timid person, its a lot easier to play than it looks. I'm a scratch player with a swing speed about 105. I can hit it high, keep it low, and in-between. Hit it off the tee and even off tight fairway lies. Its a fun club. I've even had some friends hit it, and they were very surprised at how good it feels, and how easy it is to hit.
I got it in the Black Hazardous Smoke shaft which I really like as well.

Not a steel shaft as picture suggests. Evenflow graphite shaft.

Well I loved it till the head flew off on a pure fairway rip. Only hit 150 balls with it and treated it really well. 2 months old. After inspection it had hardly any glue on the shaft or in the head...obviously a defect. I'll update my rating after I make sure taylormade makes it right with me.

My new favorite club, put the hybrid away. Goes 240 yards off the tee and straight, less spin then a hybrid

This is everything I could have asked for. Great for windy conditions as well as finding more fairways. Could not be happier with this UDI!! Taylormade knows their irons!!
