I bought the top and bottom Icebreaker 175 to replace my LAPASA M31... both products are a very similar weight, the Icebreakers are much looser fitting than the more form fitting LAPASA M31.

5'7" 150lbs - size small fits "ok". I'd say the small is good for people 5'6" to 5'9" weighing 145 to 165lbs, but the sleeves will need to be tailored (shortened and tapered).

I really hope these shrink after washing them... These are loose in the chest and shoulder, the sleeves are WAY too loose and WAY too long by 4 or 5 inches, I have to fold the cuff back to keep them hidden under my shirt sleeves. The sleeves feel VERY sloppy, and when putting a long sleeve shirt on over them the thermal sleeves get pulled up to my elbow if I don't hold onto the cuff and pull it back down to my wrist. I'll have my tailor can adjust the sleeves. I did not have this problem with LAPASA M31, the LAPASA sleeves were on the small side and barely fit over my hands. THESE ITCH JUST AS MUCH AS THE LAPASA BRAND.

These are VERY similar in thickness to LAPASA M31

LAPASA M31 fit me better (more form fitting and more appropriate sleeve dimensions).

Overall, I'm not impressed because of the loose fit compared to the cheaper brand LAPASA merino wool. These are (just) warm enough as a base layer under sweatpants for sleeping in 50f degrees. I wore them under jeans and a button up while walking 2 miles in 75 degree sunshine and ended up sweating but it dried up within a few minutes afterwards. Not extremely happy with the purchase, but it will suffice.

Too small and too short. I have a few icebreaker short sleeved Merino t-shirts. Love them. They hold their shape and color and don't smell. So I figured I'd try a long sleeved version. This short was much tighter in size S than the short sleeved one. And a couple of inches shorter, too. So it looked ridiculous. Instant return. But the material is great.
