Men's Shorts Size Chart (Inch)

We recommend you machine wash your bike shorts and then let them Air Dry. The Spandex is a rubber which is affected by heat. Longer life can be had by air drying your spandex shorts. Never use hot water, bleach and other strong acid wash, and do not bask in the sun, because the material reganization will be destroyed easily, fabric loose and shorts deformation and so on.

Cycle shorts should fit snug with the pad close to the skin or potential benefits of wearing them will be negated. A correctly sized pair of road shorts is essential to make sure that you get the most out of them. Our size guide will provide a reasonable indication of fit. It is necessary to measure your size of waist/hip before choose this underwear shorts.

Stand on a level surface with your feet together. Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom (approximately 7-9in below your waistline), keeping the tape parallel with the floor.

Good bicycle shorts. They definitely have a whole lot more padding throughout the crotch, between the crotch, and *especially* on the butt area. It occasionally requires a bit of readjustment after sitting down on the bike (especially with a thin seat) to find a good spot where the interior padding matches up with the seat itself, but once it does, these are easily some of the most comfortable shorts, padding-wise, that he's tried.

The only other issue seems to be how far the shorts rise. They definitely fit closer to an underwear instead of pants. They don't really pull up that far onto the body. Unless you had a particularly long shirt on that day, there's no way you can wear these on their own. You'll likely need to put shorts on top of these shorts.

The thigh material didn't ride up nor did it painfully squeeze the skin.

Seem to be a handwash item. I wouldn't risk putting these through the washing machine. As it gets exposed to so much sweat, though, I wish I could just toss it into the machine for easier cleaning.

Sizing does seem to run a bit on the small side, though.

My first ever bike shorts. I could only ride for 1/2 hours before crotch felt like it went through a meat grinder. First use of these bike shorts I rode for one hour with comfort. No chafing. Also, I am an old, fat guy with 47 inch waist. These are sized up to 44 inch waist. But, to my surprise they fit just fine. I am very happy with these.

I am new to cycling so I have no frame of reference, but these seem to fit alright. My legs are kind of "average sedentary male" size and the legs are fairly snug, so I can see how many people are saying the legs are too tight. Padding gets a thumbs up from me, padded right where I was getting sore before wearing them.

Mainly writing this to warn people to definitely hand wash them on their own, at least the first few times. I just hand washed them in the sink and the water turned very dark purple.

Updating my previous 4 star rating to 5 stars. I have tried at least 4 other brands of bike shorts and these are by far the best and my favorite, I just ordered 2 more. Very comfortable, absorbent and flexible sizing is accurate (other brands run very small), the padding is great and very supportive.
Thanks Sportneer!

Just wanted to say that this is an awesome company to work with. These shorts are the best you can get for anywhere near this price. The other ones I was looking at might be a little better, but they are $35.99 and that seemed too much for padded undies. I ride my motorcycle up dirt roads for 100 miles at a time and wanted a little extra padding under my butt. Like I said, for the price, you can't get better padded shorts. I highly recommend them and highly recommend this company. Their customer service is off the charts!!!

FYI I'd ad a photo of the shorts on, but at 55, no one wants to see my butt anymore!!! Ha Ha Ha

We purchased this item for my 14yr old son who started English riding and was having some discomfort learning the Posting trot, coming from a western saddle. We were almost to the point if putting him in a regular cup, but decided to give these a shot. They have seemed to alleviate some of his discomfort, seeing as how today was the first day he hasn't complained and actually tried to put a little more effort into it. Upon asking him if they worked I got a "Yeah, I guess." Which..we all a pretty ecstatic statement coming from a teenage boy. So I'm going to say they did.

Now.. coming from Mom's consumer buying review...

These briefs seem to be fairly well made, for as low as the price was. I was impressed with the amount of cushioning in the rear, the front seems like it has much less padding, but it's still far more than regular underwear. They did not come with any care instruction that I could find, but I've washed them on cold cycle, low tumble, so far so good. There were no rough edges or tags hanging out, so if you are a comfort waistband/tagless kind of guy these would be great. Sizing seems to be pretty spot on. My son is 6'2" 170lbs 33x34 pants, and we ordered him a medium. For less than $10 they work just fine.

Great price, but more importantly, they fit great (I don't like most bike shorts because the legs are too long; I'm a guy and I don't want a postal worker's tan lines). I have at least 5 pairs because whenever I find something I really like, I buy several because sometime in the future, the item won't be available anymore. I have a well-padded gel saddle; however, even with that and these bike shorts my ass would get sore from riding. I cut the pad out of these shorts, placed it on my saddle, and then stretched a nylon saddle cover over everything: now I can ride all day and not be sore at all. These shorts have considerably better padding in them than many $75 name-brand shorts. Buy these shorts: you won't be sorry and the low price is a great bonus.

These were what I needed for a great price. I'm a novice rider but these were pretty much exactly what I wanted. Would recommend. I bought 2 of them.

Bought these for mountain biking.
(I have another that I bout for 3 times more at $45!! From a sports store and they are not as good!) They are very comfortable, have great padding and wash very well also. I have washed them about 6-7 times and they are like new. The legs are elastic and hold well. They fit fine over underwear as that's how I roll but I'm sure they'd be ok commando also. I havn't even worn my other more expensive pair since buying these as they have less padding and no elastic on the legs. I will be buying another pair soon!

I bought this on a whim prior to a motorcycle trip I took last weekend. Such a difference! I was able to ride for hours without the normal pressure-points on my sport bike. Quality seems decent and they fit me well.

I picked these up at under $10 CAD. What an absolute steal! But besides the deal, these are actually great shorts. Super comfortable and I never get the feeling like I'm a sweaty mess because of overheating. I love these shorts.

At the orig price of $10, I wish I'd bought two more pairs. They are that good / comfortable / quality. As per prev reviews ordered one size bigger than my usual.

Makes those long rides tolerable and while it's an odd feeling when wearing them, they do exactly what they are supposed to do. Backsides worldwide rejoice!
