Overall the knife is not bad; not fantastic, but not bad.

The sheath feels/smells like vinyl. It does not hold the knife in securely. No big deal as I work with leather and will be making my own custom sheath for it. Regardless, I have purchased less expensive China made knives that came with better sheaths.

The handle length is a bit short for me (I have large hands), and it is very slippery. No grip at all. I do like the types of lugs used, also the scales run flush with the full tang blade.

As far as the blade, I was expecting it to be a bit thicker. It feels like a folding knife instead of a fixed blade knife. I have inexpensive folding knives with thicker blades. I know that the main weak spot on folders is the screw that joins the blade with the handle, so my main priority with a fixed blade is its strength. Unfortunately the blade on this knife is thin, and I don't believe it will hold up to heavy use. Also, the blade is made of 440A stainless steel. Not the hardest of metal alloys. As far as sharpness, mine was not too terribly sharp, so I will be stropping it to see if it gets any sharper.

I was expecting a bit more from Boker despite the fact that it's a Magnum.

Nice knife for the price. The handle scales are g10 and not grippy and all. The edges where the handle meet the steel is sharp as well as the rivets. Poorly finished in my book. Sheath is basic. But for the price it is a razor sharp knife for small camp tasks.

Knife feels good in my hand, blade sharpens well and overall seems pretty decent. But the sheath is crap, flimsy leather and the stitching came loose within one week

Nice ruggid little knife at a nice price
