I bought these for fun, just something else to mess around with while in the woods, you know? For the price, I didn't expect much. I was wrong. These are awesome.

Both spear points are well made and are sharp out of the box. Really sharp! They have a nice thickness to them and are well suited for bushcraft, survival, messing around, whatever you want. They are thick enough to fit into a cut or batoned slot without causing it to split more. I would suggest looking for the nylon carrying case for these that Amazon also sells very inexpensively. If you don't do that, I would suggest maybe wrapping these in a thick bandana or other cloth.

In case you're wondering, yes all you do it split a long branch and strap this into the split area. It comes with a small length of paracord to do that, but honestly I think that length of paracord is the bare minimum and maybe not the best way to do it. It will work, don't get me wrong, just not probably the best. I plan on using tarred twine (bankline) to strap these to a stick.

Just thinking about it, I think what I'll do is put these in the nylon case for them, then wrap that case in the tarred twine, and that way all pieces will be together and that will provide more than enough twine to wrap these on a stick or pole. These would also make decent knives in a pinch, just strap them to something handle length.

Definitely would recommend these to anyone who's interested in them. They're good quality, inexpensive, and easy to use.
