The Mustad Classic Aberdeen Hook has been an all-time favorite with saltwater and freshwater anglers. This long-shanked hook is perfect when using long natural baits, such as rag or sand worms or as a live bait hook. This true all-round hook can be used to present any bait for species, ranging from small whiting and sea robins to sea bass and cod. The MVL-V1 point combines a more efficient design with a new sharpening process for enhanced quality. The result is a sharper, new sleek point shape with penetration resistance 50% lower than standard classic hook points. Mustad's wire technology and Nor-Tempering process deliver a hook that is lighter and up to 30% stronger.

I bought to try a new color hook, as the fish in my lake have excellent vision and won't bite most hooks ( tried gold, silver, brown, and black) in the daytime. If I fish just before daylight or after sunset (while viability is poor) I catch lots of fish. But this only last a half hour @ most. My hope with the red hook is that it will blend with the red worms and fool them into biting more in the daylight. Haven't had time to try em out yet! Wish me luck!

These are quality hooks but smaller than I had anticipated. I’d go up a couple of sizes for bream fishing

These Mustad hooks are the standard needed to tie Grass Hopper and Small Streamers. Proportion of gap of the hook and length is perfect!

Seem fine very small

Not sure if I somehow got a bag of defective hooks but they sometimes have a hard time piercing the skin of a worm.

Works great for crappie fishing in the brush. You can get these un-snagged easily.

I love these ,they can be hard to get at your local store,I paid 10 dollars for 50 at bass pro.So this was a good deal.

Nice little hooks for sunfish or brim. They don't seem to snap when bent.
