The adjustment caps on my TA31F (4x32 Red Chevron) Mil-spec Trijicon ACOG were getting a little scuffed up, and they do not come with a lanyard, which I thought would be a welcome addition and an omission on the original. Upon receipt, I immediately tried to replace the caps, only to find that these ones are too small and are clearly NOT designed to work with any standard 4x32 ACOG -- i.e. the most ubiquitous ACOG version on the planet.

That said, disappointment aside, if you do have an ACOG that is compatible with these caps, they arrived in genuine Trijicon packaging and appear to be of "ACOG quality" -- i.e. very well constructed / designed.

The vendor really needs to update this listing to address compatibility issues, as I am obviously NOT the only one who feels somewhat "suckered."

These work just fine on the ta01nsn. The problem the one user has is he didn't read and determine which model he had. If you have external (finger) adjustable knobs under your covers, you need these. If you have internal (screw driver) adjusters under your covers, you need the other ones. Also, to attach the lanyard, remove the upper right hand screw on the eyepiece and slip the wire behind the screw head then retighten. It will ride in a small channel behind the screw. See photo. If your trying these on a cheap Chinese knockoff clone, well, good luck and buy a real optic.

Came all dinged up and I gave them away. I found a better solution to this on eBay, under Original Scope Cap Leash. They sell just the leashes, since you already have your caps and make great leashes for under $4.00. I've installed them on my ARs and they've worked great and I saved a few. Oh and they come in all black that matches the ACOG, or Stainless for the nickel boron ACOG.

Fits perfect, functions and looks great.
